After ringing the phone number to get in the welcome we got was Luke warm. The room was small but acceptably clean. Bathroom was ok, good water pressure in the shower.
The food was the best part of our overnight stay. Nice meal, plenty of choice reasonably priced.
The Hotel is a conversion of an old building.interesting colour schemes. Good car parking right outside.
I would happily return here on another trip.

A good stopover place 

Stayed here in 2019. The hotel was shut on our arrival but we did eventually get hold of them by phone and were unceremoniously 'welcomed' by a very surly lady we later found to be the patron. The room was small but adequate and perfectly acceptable. As everywhere seemed to be shut in Sees, we ate at the hotel. The menu was small but the food again, perfectly acceptable, if nothing special. However, the service was surly and unfriendly with very little customer interaction, just take the order and go. After dinner we decided to take the dog for an evening walk. We were stopped from leaving by the patron who demanded we pay, not just for the, meal but also the accommodation. This was a first for me as we have travelled extensively in France and NEVER been asked to pay there and then. The patron did not attempt to discuss this but basically demanded payment. Having no choice we did, feeling very unhappy. At breakfast the next day the scant croissant, roll and coffee was far less than you would expect for the price. We were served one cup of coffee and on asking for another were treated as if we had asked for the impossible. On leaving, no-one said good day, good bye or thanks for coming. I have heard of UK guests being treated badly in France, but this was a first for me. I could not recommend this hotel unless you are desperate and can find nowhere else.

Very poor customer service from Madam Patron

Conveniently located off the autoroute for a trip through Brittany this small privately owned hotel is perfect for an overnight stay. Free off parking opposite the hotel in plain view of the rooms. Small but well appointed room with ensuite, very clean. There is a bar and a restaurant in the building which has an extensive reasonably priced menu. The food is well cooked and the service just right. Recommended.

Modern comfortable room in classic French building

Located very conveniently a couple of miles off the autoroute to Boulogne and Calais, this was a pleasant hotel for a stop, even with a medium sized dog. The room was just large enough with a reasonable ensuite shower room, in need perhaps of a little updating. The rooms on our floor all had stud walls so there was quite a lot of noise from next door and along the corridor. On the other hand the dinner in the restaurant was very good and service throughout very acceptable. A second cup of coffee with breakfast would have been welcome, the continental breakfast was OK quality but modest value for money compared to other stops we have made. Nevertheless we would go back again. One word of caution - pay no notice to the apparent long opening hours. You won't find the place open till 6pm.

Good for a one night stopover

Plesent  comfortable room with nice walk-in shower bathroom could do with a lick of paint , and I would suggest that the outside area visible from the room window could be cleaned up a little but overall would stop there again if in the area

Good overnight stay

Stayed here for two nights sandwiching our annual pilgrimage to Le Mans for the 24hr. The hotel has been considerably updated from when I first visited and the staff were as friendly as ever, they used to work or run the bistro near the cathedral so we have known them for some years.

We’ll be back next year 



Excellent little hotel 

We stayed here for one night as a stop over on the way to south west France, we had two room as we were 2 adults and 3 children. The rooms were very clean and well maintained and the hotel was easy to located in Sees. We arrived late and later than expected but this was not a issue. We had breakfast, this was a very nice continental breakfast and enough for everyone. We only drive through Sees town on the morning we were leaving but it looked a nice small town with character. 

Lovely hotel ideal stop over on way to south west france

The family room was great for us as our four year old had his own bed and we had plenty of space for a travel cot for our 3 month old too. The decoration of the room is quite minimal, but the bedding and rooms were very clean. My only slight criticism is that the bed were quite low down but this was fine for us. Good location after a days travel as there are a few options for eating out just a short walk away.
