Simple but clean and beautiful room, courteous staff, motorcycle garage, very Spartan breakfast, at the same price you can get a little extra.

That's cute.

Riding from Italy over the big Cols and along both Route des Grandes Alpes and Route de Napoleon I came to Serres. It was closed, or seemed to be. Find the hotel. It was closed. Back into the town the wind was getting up. Eventually checked into hotel...Hmmm. A lot of coming and going in the night. Enough said, ride onto Pezenas.

Friendly proprietor in a nice alpine setting.  Continental breakfast with local jams and local cheese.

The rooms need a bit updating.  Shower head is not attached to the wall and there was no shower curtain.  Towels were clean but need to be replaced with newer ones.   
Internet very weak, bed comfortable.  Good location with plenty of parking and a nice restaurant next to the hotel.

Two stays a week's notice, the first time a huge room and bathroom, the second time ridiculously small... for the same price, friendly reception, good breakfast, we found another more modern establishment that better fits our expectations of returning!

Disappointed: too old...

The staff are charming and very friendly. The rooms have been refurbished and we slept very well there. The hotel is well located in the middle of the village, with private parking. The breakfast was well served and the coffee was excellent.

Two children two adults.A room without pretence of good bills clean comfortable bed a beautiful view of the mountains.Despite a late arrival at 2am we were able to get a room the very friendly manager is listening to him lunch well with local jams private parking has a flawless back.

We got a very good welcome at the Alpine hotel..good location in a nice little town with a nice river..spacious room as well as bathroom..car parking..pleasant lunch.

We were welcomed in this hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean. The decor is a little old but it's rather friendly. The breakfast is good, a special mention for the excellent jams. We enjoyed the covered garage for the motorcycle, no extra. The location of the hotel is convenient: easy to find in the centre of the village.

Have a good time in Serre.

We enjoyed a comfortable night here in this little hotel in a lovely alpine setting.
We were able to park the car inside the gated courtyard, at the back of the hotel which felt very safe. There was also a large public car park nearby.
Our room was quite basic, but clean with a comfortable double bed. It was at the back of the hotel, overlooking the courtyard and beyond to the wooded mountainside, so was nice and quiet. The hotel does front onto a busy road, but it didn't give us any problems. We had a continental breakfast with local jams in the hotel that was available from 0730 even on a Sunday, so we were able to complete our journey in good time (but we did notice the hot water in our room didn't kick in until just before 7am).
There was no restaurant in the hotel, but there was a good selection of eateries and bars just a few steps away, where there was a lovely atmosphere. This complemented our stay at this Hotel to provide a perfect start to our holiday.

Great little stopover

I was passing through Serres and had to stop to see the hour it was starting to be late and consultant TA the choices could be two or the Hotel des Alpes or Le Fifi Moulin (something like that) since the second one seemed to be more neat and expensive I opted for the first one. I looked outside and it looked closed, but once I got in I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who before being paid he had me visit the room and asked me if it had been my pleasure. I had no big claims, I had more than enough a bed and a shower. And so it was. Nothing more. The hotel shows the signs of its age, and the doorway that has had the biggest change in the last five years was probably the bathroom with a large room, but the room with a parking lot was made available to me.
