As the other hotels on the same row, you must know that they do face the sea, but that the small road in front is very busy and noisey between 6am and 10pm, end September.  So, we couldn't relax or read on our terrace.  However, the hotel is clean and very well placed to visit either the Corniche or the small port and other beaches.  A strong point for us is that we could park our car in the hotel car park, included in our room price.

Good location

Just horrified ! We arrived exhausted after driving for 7+ hrs from santandair. Expecting to be able to have a nice shower and meal.  Never in a million years would I have stayed in that room !  Dirty, No curtains, stained walls, no wardrobe doors, furniture in the hallways, washing & iron in the reception area, the water feature was covered in thick black mildew ! I was mortified.  I would have slept on the beach rather than in that place 😡

I would not let my dog's stay here 

We checked in as part of a package cycling tour, and our luggage was always transported by a service, so that we did not have to pack much on our bikes.  When we checked in, we were informed by the front desk receptionist that our baggage had not yet arrived, so we couldn't go swimming that afternoon.  It turned out (much, much later, when we reached the maximum allowable baggage transfer time to pass, and we put in a call to our tour agency) that our bags were indeed already at the hotel in time for our check-in, but the receptionist hadn't really bothered looking.  Quite an inconvenience!  There we sat, patiently waiting for our stuff to come in (we were in our sweaty cycling clothes and had nothing else) but it was actually in the hotel the whole time.  What a little twit behind the front desk!

The whole hotel is a lot of hard shiny surfaces, so it has a chilly air to it.  Maybe in August this creates a respite from the sun and heat outside, but on a very warm if cloudy day in June, the whole place just seemed like an echo chamber.  And it had the odd but distinct smell of a refrigerator... just a little like a head of lettuce was rotting away in a corner somewhere.    I hated just walking through the lobby... it was almost bank-like in its hard emptiness.  Never felt very comfortable.  

We did have a nice patio room with sea view (across busy roadway) which was a big plus.  Room and bathroom were a good size.  The room was clean, basic.  

On the whole, accommodation-wise this was not much better than a contemporary motel in the US, even if it did have a restaurant.

Clueless Front Desk Staff, Late 70's - Type Decor Lacks Charm

The hotel was nothing special, but after looking all over it was what I was able to find  (last minute!) for the week of the local fetes in Sete. I was fearful, but the place was actually fine. There's an ugly kid's playground complex right across from the hotel, but walking 5 minutes down the road there are lovely beaches (which were empty as everyone was at the fetes!).

Here you pay for the location, as the facilities are very basic. But for 1€ extra I could have a full dinner or lunch, and the food was varied and good quality. The personnel was also friendly. 

I would stop here again, as the hotel next door had one more star but cost 30€ more/ night, no breakfast or anything else included.

Basic hotel, great location

Booked hotel for one night only (thank god). Booked through booking.com, had to pay up front first time ever having to do so.  The room given was so small I was glad we never had a cat with  us as we would not have been able to swing it.  The terrace was small and smelled so terrible could not sit out there.  Had dinner at hotel. Asked if we would be able to pay when we left but when they saw it was made through booking.com, was told rather rudely no you pay now.  Would not recommend this hotel staff Very rude and service I. Restaurant was very slow
