We went 1st July 2023 for one week. Due to a problem with BA we arrived late. The staff on duty made us very welcome 

The hotel itself was very nice. Room was a bit small but large bathroom. This however was very minor. The staff were extremely good. The hotel very very clean. The pool area was fantastic. The service was first class. 
The area was very nice with a lovely marina. It was very quiet though  we would definitely stay there again Roger Hazlewood 

Very Good

We stopped here by chance & were able to get a beautiful room with a sea view. I’m sure reservations are needed later in the season. The staff is excellent, the pool is perfect & breakfast was delicious.

Beautiful 

Good hotel with friendly staff. Clean, big rooms. Beatiful views to sea. Pool and pool area are great, feels like you swim near sea. (Sea is about 200m away)
No elevator. Good breakfast.
Solenzara is quite small village, about 90 km from Bastia-Poretta airport to south, but still many restaurants to choose from.

Good hotel in the middle of Solenzara

We stayed at one of the 7 available apartments for 11 days. Already the booking process was easy and friendly. On the arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner Alexandra. The apartment A1 was clean and spacious for the 4 of us. The small terrasse outside was the perfect spot was breakfast and some occasional home cooked dinner. Pool and bar facilities were good and friendly service. Location is close to main road through Solenzara so do expect a little traffic noise. But then this hotel is also close to restaurants and shopping possibilities. Hotel also offers daily breakfast but we did not use this option. They have a lovely spa as well. If you are looking for a relaxed vacation then this could be a good option.

Nice location and friendly service

At best, a perfectly adequate base. The hotel is clean but the room we had was dated & basic. Breakfast was fine- plenty of choice if not necessarily the best ingredients. 
What we found lacking was a sense of welcome & friendliness. The only things we asked for while we were there were arranging taxi transfers to and from the airport (EXTORTIONATE!!!) & booking a couple of day trips. For one of the trips, the manager wrote down the wrong start time so we missed it. We received a cursory apology - practically just a "oops!"-& she made a show of ringing to see if another trip might be happening. My french is limited but I understand more than I speak & her implication was that we had overslept & missed out that day. Not impressed. Again, we have been struck that France could take lessons in customer satisfaction from practically anywhere.
On a practical note, unless you just want to sit by the pool, a car is vital. Public transport is very limited & costs are enormous. I live in London & was shocked by how expensive things were.

Ambivalent service

Hotel room was large enough with an additional single bed, plenty of storage space.  Bathroom was clean but small and shower pretty tiny.  Wireless was a bit hit and miss particularly when you were in the outside spaces such as the pool.  Pool was very nice and close to the beach/harbour.  Beach is also beautiful although quite stony (both small and large).  Staff were good but very few speak English (not a criticism but just to be aware).
