Le Pavillon Saint Martin is a charming hotel in a historic building in the center of Souillac. The location is perfect for visiting such places as Lascaux, Rocamadour and Gouffre de Padirac. The breakfast had plenty of choices. There is a small lift, so you don't have to carry your luggage upstairs. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious. The only disappointment is the room and decor were a tad tired and could use some refreshing.

This hotel is in a beautiful old building in the place Saint Martin in the centre of Souillac. Very friendly, helpful, informative member of staff who welcomes you on arrival. Large bedroom with en suite and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and varied. Quiet.
Please be aware that if you arrive on a Monday evening all the town is closed and dining out difficult. Other nights were Ok but not a huge choice.
Parking available. Ideal situation from which to explore the Dordogne.

A lovely 6 days in a beautiful hotel in a beautiful area.

500 year old building with lots of charm, a comfy bed, and friendly staff. Very cute town near many attractions. Our only complaint was the thinness of the walls. The couple next door coughed all night and it sounded like they were in our room.

Very Nice Historic Hotel

Great location in Place Saint Martin right opposite the church.
Very helpful staff. Tremendous breakfast in a beautiful cellar downstairs.
Room was spacious, clean and had a kettle foe a culpa. 
Our bedroom window opened on to the square with a local market set up.

Centre old Souillac.

We were in Souillac for a friends wedding at a nearby chateau and found this lovely hotel for our week long visit. The hotel is located centrally in a little quaint square, we had lovely views of the street from our room. Check in was good and Benjamin did his best to communicate with us as we have very limited French language. There was an odd smell sometimes up the stairs, no idea what it was but worth mentioning. We had a twin room which was small but suited our needs.  I would recommend they switch out the round table in the corner for a smaller rectangular table to give more space. Also the floor length mirror was inside a wardrobe door that couldn’t be opened fully due to a bedside table. Those are not criticisms just something to think about for future to make the room more useable. We had breakfast on the first day just because we didn’t know the area, it was good but felt €12 each was a little steep. Hotel felt very secure as the main doors were locked at night and you used a code to get in. WiFi was good. All in all it was a great stay and would recommend to friends and family.

Just a note on the area… we went in April and it was very quiet!! The bar next door is great but only opened Wednesday to Saturday. A lot of the other restaurants opened for odd hours on random days. Some would only serve drinks with food. Made it quite difficult at times as we would have had a meal during the day and only wanted a couple of drinks. It’s a lovely little town with a market on a Friday which is right outside the hotel. I’m sure in the summer months it’s buzzing with life!

Lovely little hotel in Souillac

One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!!  Delightful lady in reception, so friendly and welcoming.  Clean and airy bedroom with excellent facilities.  Centrally located.  Delicious and well presented breakfast. 

A great place to stay!

Small hotel in the centre of Souillac old town, with its own car parking nearby. Very friendly & helpful reception. The bed was comfortable. The electric socket for the kettle was in an awkward position, near the floor behind a table & it was impossible to plug the kettle in without putting it on the floor as the lead was too short. The bedroom walls were covered in rather odd painted rough planks.

Hotel is in a good position. Plenty of parking nearby.

Very nice

We arrived at this hotel for the start of our cycle tour after a very delayed train journey (should have been 2 hours but it was 8 due to trees on the track).  We had such a wonderfully warm welcome that the journey was forgotten in seconds.  They explained where our bikes were kept, took us to our huge room, and then pointed us in the direction of the restaurant across the street which turned out to be fabulous. Breakfast was wonderful with a huge selection of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, breads, pastries etc.  We left on our cycle ride looking forward to returning at the end of our 7 day trip!

Beautiful building with wonderful hospitality

This hotel is a small, family-run bed and breakfast in historic Souillac. The staff/owner were gracious and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.
I wondered if I would have preferred a room with larger windows facing the plaza,  but the plaza could get very noisy on a nice evening. 
The restaurant across the plaza was excellent.
