Typical Alsacian maison, antique furniture, very nice staff who do care about what they are doing. Room is clean and confortable. Advice, when you book a taxi, better book it way in advance and ask about the taxi company's approximate price.

A family business

In the outside, this hotel looks very bucolic  and romantic. However, the furniture, towels and the room in general are worn down. You would expect much more for the price which does not even include breakfast. 

Worn down and uncosy 

My wife and I stayed for one night 26 August 2015. Quaint old farmhouse. Bedroom 'Verte' OK reasonably comfortable bed. The toilet however was situated at the other side of the room away from the bathroom. The toilet light didn't work so you had to sit in the dark.  Management were informed but as we only stayed for 1 night we couldn't check to see if it had been repaired.  Good decorative order, staff very friendly.  Evening meal was basic cooking with very large portions. Service very slow. Breakfast was typical continental. Take mosquito repellent if you are travelling in August. I was bitten in several places.

OK for an overnight stopover

Impressions are mixed, as are the reviews. Maybe better than Average, but doesn't quite rate Very Good. The setting is beautiful. Decor is country-style. Parking is free. Food in the restaurant is cheerful rather than gastronomic. Our room (chambre verte) was excellent, with period furniture but a modern shower-room. Service uneven. There was very little breakfast left, and no coffee, when we came down half an hour before service was supposed to end. A good place to stay, and good value for money, but don't expect five stars.

Charming old ex-farm with lots of character

If it wasn't for my family having pre-booked this hotel we would never have stayed there.  The room: old, nay, very old.  Mattress was way too soft, only 2 coat hangers in the wardrobe, nowhere to hang clothes or towels in the bathroom, no room service, spartan supply of soap and shampoo (a used bar of soap was in our tray), wifi only after insisting on it as it did not work at first, poor breakfast, 2 choices of cold cuts and some cheese.  Horrible coffee but nice fresh croissants.  Restaurant was closed most of the time.  We never figured out what its hours in fact were.  The bar, when it was open, was only so until 9pm.  Overall if it wasn't for the friendliness of the staff I would have given it only 1 star.  Sorry but won't stay there again.
