The Ranfort has two restaurants, one for the 'repas d'ouvrier' weekday lunchtime, and an 'a la carte' restaurant, in which you can also eat the menu d'ouvrier if you ask. The cuisine is very much 'fait maison' and local seasonal ingredients whether you eat the simple and hearty menu d'ouvrier (soup, entree, main, cheese, desert, coffee and wine for a bargain €14) or the more refined a la carte (I love the warm snail salad). The owner serves, and is courteous, friendly, and nothing seems too much trouble. We eat here regularly, and have never been disappointed. If you are looking for an address where you can eat authentic local/regional dishes, you cannot do much better than to try here.
