Stenay

The studio is super nice, very coocooning with character. It is very nice to have lunch there near the window overlooking the water (to do this we have slightly moved the table at breakfast time). The breakfast basket is delicious (fresh and varied products). A window on either side of the studio brings a nice brightness. The small kitchen corner is complete. We enjoyed the 2 bottles of water placed in the refrigerator. A table available to find all the desired information is great.

Staying there once is a pleasant surprise.

Excellent location with a terrace over the Meuse River on which we had our breakfast at this historic mill. Klaus spoke excellent English as does his wife was very easy to communicate. Very nice apartments to include a kitchen which we utilized. Great location if you want to visit the European Bier Museum which is across the street. Also a good location for visiting sights associated with the American Expeditionary Force from World War I and not far to Verdun. Would certainly stay again.

29 May Stay in Stenay

It's a very nice place. It's a great place to explore. The apartments are absolutely nicely laid out. Very clean on all levels. A great breakfast. The owners are taking care of the tourists. You can't miss it. The restaurant is also a great place to explore. Nothing to say. Thank you.

Ideally located, this place is absolutely worth knowing.

We stayed here to visit WWI sites in the area. This was the perfect place to stay with very attentive owners, parking and a neighbouring restaurant which was very good as well. 
The towels in the bathroom were new and very soft, not like the hard towels you will find in some hotels. Stenay is a lovely, typical French little town with a nice bakery. And a beer museum which we didn’t visit. 
The ‘room’ (bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchenette) is a bargain at the price. Very well equipped and with a great eye for detail. The duvets are perfect as well. Only small remark: I could have done with an extra pillow. Mind you, I didn’t ask for one either, otherwise I would have probably gotten it. 
Stay here when in the area, you will not regret it!

Perfect place to stay

This was a great little find for the route across Europe to the ferry port. A water mill in the Ardennes.....well appointed apartment right opposite a Beer Museum.....what’s not to like.
There is a restaurant in the same building, but it was closed the day we were there. Quaint with waterside walks around the river side moorings and canal.

A lovely alternative to hotels

Very comfortable establishment, with all the necessary equipment, very nicely decorated, with parking. Optional breakfast, plenty and for the taste (sweet and salty) for 8 euros.

Very good address

Great food, always delicious, we go there often and are never disappointed. Choose from a few dishes that change very often what is a guarantee of quality and flavor. Very nice frame in a Flemish style. Very kind patron and cook. I highly recommend!!

Always as delicious

For a small sum, the possibility of eating one or two dishes, followed by coffee/dessert! All on a map offering 4.5 choices, regularly served to the taste of the arrival of the seasons. In a very warm atmosphere and setting, thanks to the bosses!! Orval possible at the apéro 😉!

The place where it's good to eat in Stenay!

A very warm welcome from Rina and shown to our apartments. We stayed in number 4 which was very light and airy, immaculately clean and furnished in a very warm and cosy style. The added benefit of the kitchenette is wonderful. You can make your own food, have a cup of coffee, whatever you want to do on your break away. The bedroom was a great size and an extremely comfortable bed with lovely linen. Ironing board and iron supplied in the wardrobe should you need it. The bathroom was very well equipped with a bath/shower, a large wash had basin and complimentary soaps etc. A modern powerful hairdryer also supplied in the bathroom.
Rina had very kindly booked restaurants for us for our stay and they were both excellent. The restaurant right next door offered a wonderful meal and was delicious. We also ate in Le Chanzey which is Italian based and again a delicious meal there. the restaurant next door usually serves breakfast, but after our first evening, the hosts were going on holiday so Rina served us breakfast in the front part of the apartments. Eggs, ham, cheese, yogurts, cereals, bread, croissants, jams, fresh fruit and fruit compotes and tea and coffee were ample to set us up for the day. 
We would throughly recommend staying here and indeed, we are already planning a return trip next year to explore more of the area.

Excellent accommodation and amenities

Really well arranged Appartments with attention to detail. Well equipped kitchenette. Also Appartment very close to an excellent restaurant. Well done. Really enjoyed our 4 nights there. Great launching pad for Sedan, Bouillon and environs. And of course the Museum of Beers just opposite.
