Unfortunately we only stayed one night here, on our first visit. But we will return.
The owner Gilles provides a very good breakfast. He is most helpful with local information and good company.
Our room was clean and large with a good ensuite. 
From our first floor window we had a view
of seven horses and several foals in a neighbour's field. That is a special memory.

Lovely Quiet B&B

This is the second time I have stayed here, the first time being 4 years ago and then my husband and I loved staying here. Jilles the proprietor is fantastic, such a lovely man and cannot do enough for you. He only serves breakfast so if you want any other meals then you need to go locally or into Bayonne. The accommodation is so quite, beautiful rooms and there is a comunal living room if you want to spend time in there, also a kitchenette with microwave.The hotel is in Tarnos just 10 mins by car is Bayonne which is a beautiful city with lots of resturants by the river. In Tarnos there is the most wonderful stretch of beach which is approx 167ur kilometers long. If you want a cheap 3 course meal on an eveninng not too far away is the Carefour Suppermarket  there resturarant is open on an evening and the 3 courses range from 7 plus euros to 14 plus. Ferme de Honzac is a lovely base to visit the Basque region.

Fantastic Guest house/ Hotel

You are welcomed by a great host, in a great house (great not just as a figurează of speech but also literally, as i almost got lost:) ), tasty breakfast (french style but deliciosus)

incredibile place

Gilles is a lovely host and gave us a warm, pleasant greeting, and looked after us through-out our visit. My husband and I stayed in the gite off the south west corner of the massive old Basque farmhouse for the month of November. It’s large and long; the front wall has double glass doors with windows around them forming a huge arch way, with shutters that completely enclose the glass arch like a big arched barn door. The glass arch leads into a large living/dining room with a galley kitchen on the inside wall which is outfitted with cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, etc. There is also a good size fridge, stove, oven, microwave and dish washer. All the floors are tiled, the walls white with large wood beams all over the place. The furnishings are Ikea or Ikea like, and with a small TV. Down the hall is a large room for only the toilet, then a huge room for the vanity, sink and shower – then 2 smallish bedrooms on the outside wall each with a small window. It was clean and comfortable, a very nice and roomy place to stay close to Bayonne. There is a patio in the front and on the side, and there is a shared laundry room as well with washer and dryer. Parking is right beside the gite and adequate for all guests. The winter rate for the month and the utilities charge (for consumed power) were both extremely reasonable. We would definitely stay in a gite or chambre d'hote at this property again, and highly recommend it to others.

Very comfortable gite; great value

We stayed for around 5 days in July and were very pleased with the help and consideration of the owner, Gilles, who is a genuinely nice guy. Whatever request you have was not too much trouble - he had recommendations for events, nice restaurants and even (in our case), the best route to get to a little town in Pays Basque. The farmhouse is in the peaceful Bayonne countryside, but it is easy to access the beaches and towns of Pays Basque and southern Landes. We had every morning a delightful breakfast of many different breads and cakes, and we even had some very nice conversations with other visitors on the long dining table. Our room was large and had a good shower.
