Fabulous accommodation in a beautiful rural location with swimming pool. We really enjoyed our overnight stop here and Valerie is a wonderful host. We hope to return, for a longer time to discover the local town and countryside. 

It's been the third time that we stayed at La Maison De Leopold and we can't get enough of it. Valerie is the most welcomig host, the rooms are airconditioned and very comfortable, the breakfast is excellent. One can't wish anything more. By now we consider this B&B as a necessary stop during our stay in this part of France. Terrasson is a charming little town and an excellent base to explore the region. We certainly will be back!

Very warm welcome.  Nice and clean rooms in a quiet setting.  Good bathroom.  Good breakfast with excellent home made jam(s). Host was giving good tips about restaurants and places to see, whilst respecting our privacy.

Upon arrival Valérie, who is most definitely one of the best hosts you can come across, offered us a homemade juice. She showed us to our duplex room (Sous le tilleul de Noémie) that is nicely decorated and equipped with a huge bath tub (it fits 2 people) and the toilet (not separated from the rest of the bathroom). When we were there it was quite hot so the fact that the room has airco was a real plus to have a good night’s sleep.  The airco unit is very quiet so you can easily turn it on at night. The room is very comfortable and has good bedding. In the morning breakfast is served in an open kitchen area, so Valérie is present all the time. She serves the best breakfast and you can even have scrambled eggs if you want to. We just stuck to the continental breakfast because between the excellent bread, the croissants, the fruit salade and the freshly baked nut cake, we had already plenty! The B&B is located in the countryside near the very charming town of Terrasson, which was a most surprising find! It is certainly a place to return to.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful chambres d'hotes and really recommend La Maison. The host, Valerie's warm hospitality made our holiday really special. She is very friendly and willing to help out in any way she can to make your stay as relaxing as possible. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfasts complete with homemade jams and cakes. The swimming pool was large with nice sunbathing deck and beautiful of the surrounding countryside. We stayed in the very comfortable family suite, which meant we had a whole floor to ourselves! We will definitely return. Thank you so much Valerie for your warm hospitality!

The B&B is located about a 1.5 miles from the Terresson Center.  It is conveniently located to Brieve, Sarlat, numerous Cro-Magnum caves.  Our room was downstairs and opened to the terrace.  We had breakfast on the terrace and several nights, we sat outside with a bottle of wine and some cheese.  Our room was large, comfortable and clean. It also contained and air-conditioner. Breakfast was a real treat. The assortment of jams were home made   Valarie, the owner and host, always prepared  or baked something special each day.  

As mentioned in the title, Valarie is the perfect host.  She recommended places to eat and told us about the local market.  When we asked her about a hostess gift for a wedding party, she provided several good suggestions.  Her English is good enough.  You will not have any trouble communicating.

The place has a swimming pool.  We did not use it, but other guest.   

We were the 5 nights.  My wife was not ready leave.

A very nice small house. With my wife for 3 nights, had an atico room with spacious bathroom upstairs. A nice surprise was being served a cool fruit drink by the pool one hot afternoon!
Google Maps sent us down a narrow road, not sure if that is the best way to access the house.
