In the heart of the Albigensian countryside, this 18th century castle proves that with a great deal of sensitivity, it is possible to maintain the classical spirit of a place by allegiating it and adapting it to the best trends of the time. Yes, Ronel is touched by modernity, but its noble rooms remain true to what they once were, displaying very fine skates and some stylish furniture that play their delicate part in a perfectly poetic universe. All beige shades, tender grey, sometimes enhanced with a pastel hue, the rooms with their wide and comfortable beds are delicious.

If you're tired of the big cities, the crowds of people, and you want the quiet, the beauty, and the delicious food, this is the perfect place. A chateau with a story - which the owner is happy to tell, but at the same time, this huge house is completely reconstructed. Very fresh, high-quality and expensive repairs, mostly done by the owners themselves. Christoph kindly arranged a small tour for us, and all rooms are equally beautiful. The hostess - Lydia - a woman with incredible taste and attention to detail.

It's exciting.

We stayed at the chateau for 3 nights with our little baby. The whole experience was exceptional. The rooms are well designed, spacious and extremely clean. Christophe and his wife are the perfect hosts going out of their way to help with any requests. We also ate here in the evening and the home made food with ingredients grown on the estate was the perfect addition to our stay. Thank you for a lovely weekend, will definitely be recommending to our friends.

The perfect Château experience

We were received with great care in this beautiful castle, rebuilt without any false notes, inside and outside with a natural swimming pool that left us speechless. Inside, every detail was given special attention.

Exceptional

If by the word chateau you are looking for a golden palace with a princess in a tower, Ronel is not for you. It is a country house without great pretensions, but with all the comforts, where it feels no louder than the roaring of the rooster at dawn. I stayed in the room Leonor of Aquitaine; very spacious, full of charm, impeccable, with two large windows overlooking the countryside and a full and spacious bathroom. Good sheets and towels. The location seemed excellent, away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to Albi and other attractions of the surrounding area. The antics are extremely pleasant - I hope not so pleasant that you will get water. There are always plans if you want to eat your meals or your greats.

I would have had more time!

2 wonderful nights spent in this domain completely rebuilt after lightning! Lovely hosts with a true sense of service. A delicious breakfast with very good products. In the evening we took the board, which is also excellent. Thank you for this moment

This is a beautiful place

Lydie and Christophe are charming, caring and available guests. The castle and gardens are splendid and appeal to relaxation. The natural pool offers a magical experience, fresh water and a swimming pool in the midst of the neonuphars. Our room was decorated with taste and comfort.

Enchanted Parentess

A beautiful, quiet place with a beautiful natural pool. Our room  Honorine de Brabant  was large, well decorated, with a lot of refinement in every detail, impeccably clean. The meals (lunch, gourmet dish and guest table) are a real delight. The products are of high quality and prepared with love and refinement. The Hôtes Christophe and Lydie are remarkably kind and do everything to please us. Let us not forget the animals as charming as their masters. We spent 2 exceptional days. The castle is also well located to visit the area. An address to recommend and we hope to return to.

It's great.

We had a wonderful stay at Chateau Ronel, the owners were so kind and friendly. We arrived in the early evening after visiting Albi and Roquefor. The owners and their very nice dog meet us and showed us our very cosy and beautiful designed room. It was a real dream room, with a wonderful view, large bathroom with separated toilette and a very nice bed. We took a evening walk around the domaines and looked at the horses, rose garden and pool. In the morning we where offered freshly baked homemade bread and marmalade, and a great breakfast. Before we left, we took a swim the natural pool. A great stay and recommended to all who would like to live in a castle in France in a comfortable way.
