Hotel is lovely, albeit could do with a couple of tweaks - updating bathrooms. 
Food in the restaurant was amazing, I had to think long and hard as to when I ate such a lovely meal. 
Staff very friendly and helpful and would highly recommend this place if you’re like me and in need of an overnighter travelling to/from Calais-UK.

Last minute stopover

Friendly service and spacious rooms, confortable beds and peaceful surroundings. An excellent address in the French part of Flanders. Close to the beaches and many sites of WW1, cities of Bergues and Dunkirk. 

Very good value accommodation 

This is a very convenient small restaurant with rooms only half an hour from the Channel Tunnel. The bedroom was spacious with a large en suite bathroom. There were glass doors from the bedroom into the garden with a private terrace. It was very clean, though there was still the chipped loo seat that has been mentioned before. The bathroom had big towelling dressing gowns and there was also tea making equipment. The wifi worked well.
However the main reason for coming here for us was the superb meal in the restaurant. My prawn starter and fillet of lamb main course were delicious and my husband was equally pleased with his dishes. The wine was also very good.
The breakfast was simple french style but was not as expensive as we had been paying for more extensive, but not so delicious breakfasts else where. The croissants and pastries were superb and tasted homemade 
We were very well looked after and will return..

Superb food

Just outside Dunkirk and was an ideal place to stay and enjoy a delicious meal.
The twin bed room was very spacious and comfortable with a small balcony. The bathroom had both jacuzzi bath and shower.
The dinner was delicious and well presented.

Lovely and Spacious

The last minute acquisition of tickets for the Euro 2016 game in Lens meant finding a two night stopover. We chose La Meunerie at random as it was away from any potential trouble and convenient for the ferry.

It proved to be a good choice. 

The village of Teteghem is a really quiet and pleasant place a few miles outside Dunkirk, the hotel looks clean & inviting as you pull up outside and there's plenty of free parking.
The welcome was good and the rooms were excellent - large airy rooms, well -fitted out with large ensuite bathrooms. My room had the added bonus of a patio door leading to my own patio area and the garden beyond.

Internet is freely available but in both our rooms with sveral dvices it wasn't possble to connect although in the main part of the hotel it worked just fine.

The food in the evening was typically French and was excellent - a three course set menu is offered and on both nights it hit the spot and was reasonably priced.

The area is very quiet and the beds comfortable so after good night's sleep it was a typical continental breakfast before heading out for the day.

I highly recommend the place and wpuld happily stay there again.
