This place is absolutely beautiful. The house is beautifully decorated, furnished and maintained whilst being extremely clean. The hostess is fantastic, very attentive, accommodating and friendly; she made us feel like we were at our own home. We had a meal on the evening and it was delicious, all courses were homemade and prepared from local produce. Couldn’t fault this place at all and it comes highly recommended. 

Hidden gem

This is a lovely place. If you're looking for smart, elegant, sophisticated it's not for you. If you'd rather homely, friendly, charming and a warm reception that makes you feel SO welcome, like you're an old friend, definitely come here. Myriam is charming. I caught her cooking for us on arrival, found her ironing next morning. No pretences here - it's a good old-fashioned home from home, with first class dinner at a table with two other guests and Myriam - almost like a dinner party - and superb breakfast. Bravo Myriam! The room was clean and comfortable, with no frills. It's a tiny point, but I'd have preferred light-coloured towels to the dark brown ones provided. But this doesn't stop me giving La Flambee top marks.

Home from home

The hostess was fabulous made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was really lovely and she even made French toast. Dinner was a fabulous feast with wine and included a delicious cheeseboard. The decor was stylish and the garden terrace was stunning. I would definitely recommend this place set in the heart of the French countryside.

The perfect French experience

What a stunning and beautiful place this is.   Nothing is too much trouble for Miriam who is indeed the most lovely and cheery person you could wish to meet .   She joined us for breakfast and we had a good few laughs over UK accents (I'm Scottish) and my wife and I were so sorry to have to move on..   If you are visiting Oradour and intend staying in the area, do yourself a great favour and stay here you will not find better!  .

A Real Jewel

This place is brilliant, the value is excellent, Myriam the host is wonderful - what more do you need to know?
Go there and have a fantastic time.
The immediate area, certainly in the autumn is beautiful - gentle rolling hills, bright colours and hidden villages that - like La Flambée - are gems.
