Beautifully located in the old mountain village of Tignes Les Brevieres, Chalet Hattiers is absolutely delightful. The chalet has an ambiance that is great to come back to after a day on the slopes. The rustic charm of the interior décor provides the perfect balance of comfort and convenience. Breathtaking views of Mont Pourri from the chalet windows add a touch of magic to morning coffee on the balcony.

Breakfast was outstanding with hot options available every morning but one (chef's morning off) and the hearty evening meals were never less than exceptionally good with plenty of wine for those who wanted it.

The hospitality of the staff was unmatched, their attentiveness and warmth made me feel truly at home, ensuring that every moment of my stay was a pleasure, My expectations, already high from previous stays with Chalet Chardons, were surpassed, leaving me with great memories and a desire to return next season. For the perfect mountain getaway I am happy to give Chalet Hattiers an unequivocal endorsement.

Chalet Hattiers, a great base for a Tignes ski holiday.

Great location in a quiet village, staff were fantastic and made our stay amazing, accommodation was good.

Annabelle and Tom couldn’t do enough to make our stay the best it could be especially with us having a 1 year old in our group. Jordan in the kitchen cooked up brilliant breakfast and dinner. In fact his duck was 100 times better than the duck we were served in the local restaurant. Missing his cooking already!

We enjoyed amazing freshly baked cake every day at 4pm after skiing. 

Accommodation was good although one room had a slanted ceiling which made it difficult for one couple with us getting in and out of bed without banging their heads.

Perfect stay and we would definitely book again.

Fantastic family ski trip to Tignes

We stayed in Hattiers 2, an apartment within the chalet. The apartment is at the top of the building and has great views across Brevieres. The apartment was well equipped, and the addition of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in jars, as well as milk was very welcome and not something you find at all chalets. The apartment was definitely large enough for the 6 in our party, although the bathrooms are on the small side, but perfectly functional. (We did have an issue with one of the showers, but this was sorted immediately, following us reporting it.) The lounge is a lounge diner, but as it’s a catered chalet we felt that an extra sofa would be more beneficial than the dining table, as there wasn’t comfortable seating for six. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept very well.
The highlight of this apartment is the chalet Chalet Chardons staff. From booking through to arriving home, they couldn’t have been more helpful. Our chalet host was amazing, a perfect representative, helpful, attentive and if she didn’t know the answer to a question she came back to us later. The chef also, was truly amazing. Not only was all the food exceptional but Lawrence catered for one of our party with a food intolerance. We have never experienced meals of the standard we were served this holiday, and we have stayed in catered chalets on many previous occasions. In addition to this, we certainly did not go hungry; the extra touches such as the free flowing wine, the port following our meal and the welcome Prosecco, were touches that made us feel like valued guests. 
We wouldn’t hesitate to use Chalet Chardons again.

A ski holiday to remember

Had a blast at Hattiers.
Great food and service. The chalet is probably a bit small for 8 but nonetheless it was very quaint, clean and good quality. They give you cake every day which a lovely bonus and then the mid week clean is what really put the cherry on the cake.

Great quality and would recommend

My family and I had a lovely stay in Chalet Hattier, we stayed in the self catering apartment at the top of the building.
Unfortunately my dad took Ill  during the holiday and I needed to fly home midweek. The staff went above and beyond to help facilitate this and managed to get me a last minute transfer at a very reasonable cost also.

Ski trip

This is the second time we have stayed at Chalet Hattiers. It is a lovely traditional style chalet, close to the slopes, with beautiful views. We were a couple and had a lovely room with a balcony. It's very sociable and everyone sits down together for breakfast and dinner.  The food is great; they can cater for vegans/vegetarians as well as meat eaters. There is loads to eat and plenty of wine. Homemade cakes to come back to in the afternoon, which is a real treat. All the staff were really friendly and efficient and nothing is too much trouble. It is really good value for money. 
We love Tignes Les Brevieres, although some people find it a bit inconvenient being on the edge of the ski area. However, having stayed in Lavachet I much prefer Les Brev; it is much more attractive and has a lovely atmosphere.  Now the chairlift to Les Boisses has been replaced by a cable car, the link to Les Brevieres is much better. Beware though, as the ski resort buses do not go to Les Brevieres,so if it is too dark to ski from Les Boisses (or 1800) back to Les Brev, you will have to get an expensive taxi. (But the cable car is open late 2 afternoons a week now)


Great place to stay; exceptional staff, food, location and accommodation great.

Great little chalet. It is an excellent location, great value and the staff were amazing. It was very well kept,the food and service was great and the general atmosphere was so nice.

I would thoroughly recommend.

Staff were absolutely incredible and so hard working! Sam the Chef's food is amazing and he goes above and beyond - even making special Gluten Free Cakes for afternoon tea for me along with the regular ones. Georgie and Nathan were amazing too - everyone is such hard workers and so kind. It's the perfect chalet for a large party - there were 42 of us! It includes lots of rooms and also 2 apartments (which are inside the main chalet). We stayed in one of the apartments and loved that it had a fridge, sink, kettle etc. 

My only one gripe is that there's no road just a path down to the town and ski area and it's very steep and hadn't been shoveled so was actually quite dangerous and hard to get down in ski boots. Our group went and got gravel and gritted it ourselves to make it even manageable to get down. Apart from that an absolutely fantastic week holiday - I highly recommend Chalet Hattiers - 10/10!

Fantastic NYE trip - highly recommend Hattiers

Me, my wife and our 5 years old boy spent a lovely week at Chardon Hattiers. We enjoyed the very good location, just sitting on the room’s balcony and seeing our child during the ski classes. The food and wines were very good. Becca, Georgie, Tom and chef Sam were the best hosts we ever had. We will definitely return.

Superb winter holidays

Chardons is great and Hattiers is the best Chalet of them all! The staff are all incredibly friendly, good natured and very helpful. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Great ambience. The service by Chardons in arranging pre-paid reservations for ski equipment and lift tickets was superb with excellent personal attention via email. One little glitch in my accommodations reservation was immediately fixed with an upgrade. I highly recommend Chardons and Hattiers above all (literally and figuratively). My only complaint is that they did not provide the blue sky sunshine that I'd ordered for skiing.
