Great B&B with lovely service, breakfast and owners. Very clean rooms and charming design. 10 min to the Paris train system, which brings you to the center in 30-40minutes. Was there for a business trip and will return for proper holidays.

Lovely and quiet stay

Tucked away in the south of Paris, this is a gem of a place. Not only were we treated like royalty but also enjoyed a great breakfast. Close by is park Sceaux which is also an absolute must do. Close to bus routes and train stations. What is nice about the accommodation is the peace and quiet yet close to major attractions in Paris. Can really recommend this historic B&B which is well situated and delicately decorated. 

Viva la Le Clos!

Le Clos de Princes is an absolutely charming place to stay. We stayed for two nights - our host Eric was wonderful. We felt it was an oasis of old-style French charm. A very welcome change from the generic hotel. Thank you.

Absolutely charming

We had some friends arrive from America and wanted to spend a couple days in the Paris area.  This B&B was a great location.  Close to Orly and Versailles by car and a 10-15 minute walk to the Paris train system.  Just a couple minutes to the city center for some restaurants as well.

The B&B itself.  Charming.  From the moment you walk in the courtyard to the time you are in your room.  It is a wonderful late 19th, early 20th century French home.  The suite is wonderful.  Old style soaking bath, bedroom, and separate sitting room.  The owners are welcoming, kind, and speak English as well.  

For those driving they have a private parking space.

We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful ambiance from a bygone era

We (family of four) stayed for two nights in August 2015 en route back to the UK from Provence.  We had a lovely top floor suite of two bedrooms with en suite bathroom.  The house is an authentic French townhouse and former home of poet laureate Sully Prudhomme.  The rooms are fitted out to reflect the house's special heritage with original features retained and restored.  The owners' son Alexandre was on hand to look after us and was charming and incredibly obliging (ordering us take out when we arrived too late to eat and storing a bike in the house).  The location is within easy reach of central Paris (a 10 min walk to a zone 3 station and then a 20 minute train journey into St Michel).  Definitely recommended to those who want something a little different and authentic but perhaps not those who seek the latest in modern facilities.
