Château de la Rolandière

We stayed here around 11 years ago when we didn’t have kids. We decided to return for a few nights on our way back to the uk and we didn’t regret it! The place hasn’t changed much but that’s a good thing. Very friendly and kind owners, clean facilities, lovely setting. At the end of August it was relatively quiet which was a nice respite from some of the more commercial and large campsites we stayed at on our trip. Our kids loved the freedom of the place and the castle setting. We played the mini golf course which was very old and challenging but also good fun for a few euros. It’s a good location for exploring the Château’s of the area, we went to Villandry. We will definitely return but hopefully it won’t be another 11 years until we do.
