what a pleasure to stay here, and for many reasons, first the atmosphere, so cosy, so comfortable, second the manager, Christian, a real professional and someone who loves his home and position, third the localization, 2 minutes walk far from the sand beaches, the hearth of the city but on quite street!
the room, number 3 , on first floor, is nice, clean, spacious bathroom.
The breakfast is included and the pastries are amazing and fresh !
there is a a corner shop with some nice items and souvenirs, the bar at night is so confidential !

more than Hotel, an real Home

Second time staying at this gem of a hotel. Try every time to book here when we stay in Trouville-sur-Mer on a long annual drive to Brittany to see family. So pleased that this year we were lucky as usually all nine rooms at this small but very welcoming hotel are booked.
Thank you Christian for your professional and attentive service and for my poor French! Hope to see you again soon!

Gorgeous hotel in lovely area

We had such a wonderful time here --- Christian was a great host of SUCH a wonderful hotel. We arrived relatively late (8 pm) and he greeted us at the door and walked us immediately up to our rooms. He was so kind and patient with my terrible french, and breakfast every morning was truly amazing. (It was also really nice to have some American-style coffee too!) And, most importantly, he did something that I have never had happen after a hotel/airbnb stay. My husband left two shirts behind and Christian mailed them all the way to the US for us immediately after we left. I asked him to please charge my credit card for the cost, but I don't think he did. This was ABSOLUTELY above and beyond and we were so grateful!! This hotel is charming, one block from the beach, nestled on an adorable side street in Trouville and only a 15 minute walk from the train station if you don't have a car (we didn't). Truly a great stay.

charming stay, amazing service!

As like so many times before our host is friendly and charming, the atmosphere in the hotel is inviting and our room is excellent. We love the way it is decorated with great care and with so much charm. The bathroom is very clean and well kept. And the breakfast is simply great. Warm fresh croissants, pain au chocolat and french bread, together with a fresh orange juice, coffee and/ or tea etc. etc.  I wouldn't want it any other way.

I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else

I was spent two windy days in Trouville with my family. We didn't had the best weather for our sejour, but the hotel Saint James saved our trip. 
The first good impression we had in this hotel was the was very polite and helpful gentleman - the manager of the hotel. 
Secondly, we were all satisfied with our rooms - I had the single room on a third floor, a very comfortable and tastefully decorated room.
And third, the small lobby decorated in English style was pleasant as for having french breakfast, same as for a night cup by the fireplace.
