We stayed for one night in August, the only place we could get a “cheap” room in Trouville-sur-Mer.
Staff welcoming and helpful, parking nearby impossible, room functional, bed comfortable, decor dated, plumbing noisy. 
No complaints, even the seagulls kept away.
Would stay again.

Interesting old hotel

Trouville is an expensive tourist area & this hotel is cheaper than others. Still not what I'd cll cheap - mid range at €70 for the triple room and #10 each for breakfast. Between 2 it was OK.

We were 2 bikers traveling together and we got the triple room (14) which was warm and clean. The facilities are basic and dated, but everything works. The radiator was on so we could dry our motorbike gear.

The building is interesting, old and creaky. Everything was good enough - no problems. You'd spoil if a bit if you modernised it - iy had character. 

I wouldn't bring my wife here, but for groups or a couple of mates travelling together, if you want basic, clean stuff, this is the place for you.

The French breakfast was good. The owner nice and friendly and I'd recommend it.

Good enough hotel for a reasonable price.

We stayed at Le Maison Normande in July 2016, it's a simple but cozy hotel. The building is old so you can hear the all movement in the house but I'm use to old houses so that didn't bother me at all. The location is fantastic being less then 5 min walk from the beach. We didn't eat the breakfast because it was cheaper just to walk to one of the bakery that are just down the street. The only problems that we experience had little to do with the hotel. It was hot so difficult to sleep but we knew in advance that we did not book an air-conditioned room, the second are the seagulls, yes the 24/7 singing seagulls. I didn't sleep much the first night because of them but got use to them by the second night but my husband was unable to sleep all week. 

Simple but cozy hotel

Located in the very heart of Trouville, this charming inn is just in couple of minutes walk from the Casino and the beach.
It is an old house with typical architecture. We had the famous "strawberry " room.
Everything was quite charming: warm welcome, great location; the only thing is that in summer an AC is a must in a hotel, even a small one.

So Normandy, indeed

The Maison Normande is a lovely, small hotel in the center of Trouville. The public parking directly in front is very convenient and is free from 0900-1900. The room was very clean & the bed comfortable. The continental breakfast was lovely, very French & so convenient.   The host is charming, friendly & accommodating. There is no lift and the typical old winding French stairway is narrow.
