From start to finish this hotel is awful !!! Very tired decor, very unwelcoming staff, no aircon not even a fan to keep cool, everything needs sprucing up from the carpets to the walls / windows. There is no way this hotel is worth the money they charge, try somewhere else, even a park bench would be far better, oh and by the way even though they still advertise parking it’s a lie they haven’t ! You have to pay in the public car park

Awful… avoid like the plague

Excellent location but there is no aircon and our room was over the very busy and noisy Ave 14 Juillet so little sleep was possible with the window open.  

The hotel is Not advertised as having air con but I assumed all BB hotels had it.

Troyes is an amazingly beautiful town.

Terrible hotel needs updating paint decor awful. We had room. 213 and room 335 with double bed and bunk. They gave us no bedding for the bunk bed we had to ask for it on both occasions. Room 335 overlooked the car park which is is desprate need of repair holes in the concrete and when you drive in it looks like a drug ally, room 213 over looks main street which our window seemed to be broken and taped up with black tape but came undone and you could hear everything. No air conditioning! And no tea or coffees making facilities in room. The breakfast was continental but absolutely awful dry bread and mini crossiants and pain au choc fruit looked like it had been there rotting for a week!

Basic hotel but very, very friendly receptionist and lady at breakfast. Breakfast room was kind of small and no ventilation possible (COVID) parking on rooftop and near old city center. So ideal for visiting the marvelous old houses and  streets of Troyes.

Basic but friendly

Hotel very close to medieval town centre with its half timbered buildings, many cafes and restaurants, and charming alleys. Hotel car park accessed at rear across a wasteland  and up a ramp. Car park itself littered and frequented by youngsters-nothing to worry about. Hotel room clean but poorly maintained with wonky showerhead clip and broken window stay.

Troyes central hotel

Booked this hotel on our return leg to the Eurotunnel. There's budget then there's Ibis Budget Troyes Centre!!
My advice is to avoid this hotel. No air conditioning despite 40 degree weather. Shower gel non-existent and not a great welcome! The ibis budget Troyes Est is like luxury in comparison and cheaper! Highly recommend this as an alternative and should have stayed there had it not been a desire to visit the city centre which is amazing.
I should have read the reviews of this hotel before booking. Any other hotel will be better than this one...and it's far from budget at 87 euros!!
You have been warned. Ibis sort this place out!!

Stopover to Calais

Stayed for our first night here on a motorcycle tour of Europe. Sadly it needs some money spending on refurbishing and whilst offers clean linen and a bed for the night and some hot water in the shower, thats just about it. And its expensive in my view for what it provides. It has car parking on an upper level for a city centre which is good, but you have to traverse what looks like a building site with debris to get there. The hotel building has not been well maintained and the canopy has been reversed into and damaged. The rooms are small and the bathrooms old and poorly maintained mastic sealant but in general it appeared clean and the bed had fresh linen on and the shower had hot water so for a one night stay on a motorcycle trip it kind of worked though with some disappointment. I wouldnt book or choose it again though.

No air conditiong so needed to leave street side window open and noise all night long.

Staff OK, Covid-19 precautions decent and breakfast decent value for €6.60

Only stay if you cant find an alternative....

Where do I start? The approach in  and  car park looks like a war zone from the middle east.  There is no security at all in the car park, a fact clearly celebrated by the 2 guys performing sex acts in the car as we parked next to them (That is no joke!) The hotel is dingy grey and as basic as you can imagine.  We made a mistake and booked a room for 3 people instead of a family room. The receptionist simply said 'Max 3 people' and would not budge even after she also stated there was no more rooms for us.  The extra person was a 6yr old who we were happy to have in our bed but she was not interested in helping us. She would not look for another room anywhere nor would she let us stay there.  She was however surprised when we asked for a refund and simply asked if we wanted to stay. (I have no idea where she thought our 6 year old was going to stay, perhaps she thought she would hang out with the gang kids who had arrived in droves whilst we were inside. I am pretty sure it is also a handy location for drug deals as well as the aforementioned sex acts. We decided to leave and try our luck somewhere else and like bmth11 were relieved to find our car still there and not on bricks.  
A 10 min drive to Ibis Troyes Est (next to the buffalo grill) and we were saved.  5 mins after we arrived he had found us a room (which the other useless receptionist could not find) and we were safe and happy.
I know this sounds a little sarcastic but the central Ibis is without doubt the worst hotel in any country I have experienced.  I would never dream of going there again nor would I recommend anyone going there.  They are a embarrassment to the town, the chain and to hoteliers as a trade.  We will be complaining formally as soon as possible whilst at the same time congratulating the outstanding attitude and service of Ibis Troyes Est.

Worst hotel you can imagine.. We did not stay!

Conveniently situated for a stay in Troyes. We have had pleasant stays there over many years, sometimes more than once a year. 
This time the only issue was with Toilet Seat which had come off the hinge and one nearly fell off the seat and banged ones' head when trying to use the toilet. No one came to fix it except the receptionist whom did not come with any tools! Apart from, that great. I believe we need an answer from Accord.

Not impressed with staff playing table tennis in reception and ignoring guests. I thought the table tennis players were guests! when the "receptionist" did get around to attending to me she was off hand.
