This hotel was wonderful - such lovely staff and service and really amazing food and facilities! Particularly loved the spa. Definitely the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at on a ski trip.

Wonderful hotel

Absolutely loved staying in this chalet hotel for a week with my family. The breakfast is extensive and sets you up well for a day on the mountain. Afternoon tea has selection of sweet and savoury which was a lovely surprise! Spoilt for choice from the dinner menu with plenty variety of dishes offered. Rooms very comfortable - great showers. The spa area was greatly appreciated after a busy day - pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Boot room has heated boot rack and sufficient storage and is very easily accessible from outside. What topped it all off was the staff. They couldn’t have been any more helpful and always so friendly and happy to answer any questions or just have a chat. Will hopefully be lucky enough to return again one day.

Ideal mountain home from home

We decided to have a  treat this year skiing and stay in a hotel. We picked La Savoie because of the reviews, Unfortunately a ski accident on day 2 stopped me skiing. The staff were just unbelievable in their care. support and tried so hard to make my holiday better. They went above and beyond. Skiing is my passion so I was clearly upset and they all made it so much easier. I can't thank them enough. The hotel is gorgeous, the people and food were wonderful. It's  a big thumbs up from this family.

Amazing food, kind and compassionate staff, fantastic views

Wow, just wow. My partner and I went here for my 40th as a treat and that's exactly what it was. The Chalet/Hotel description is perfectly fitting for this fairly small, intimate setting in which the staff and guests alike get to know each other through their stay (only if they want of course).

The catering staff do a fantastic job presenting a interesting and generous menu on a daily basis which looked and tasted as good and the evening as it read in the morning (the 'house' wine is also very good and would certainly not be described as such in the UK). 
Front of house staff always give a warm welcome and are very attentive and could not be faulted.
Connor is the bar manager and is always there as a friendly face for a chat over the bar whether early or late.
The spa facilities were a welcome relief after each tough day on the slopes and although there was some maintenance through our stay, this was well communicated and disruption always kept to a minimum. 
Ryan and Aidan (excuse my spelling) did a fantastic job of bringing everything together from a management perspective and again, nothing was too much trouble for them. 
Jazz on the front desk was always a nice smile to come back to the hotel to and was very knowledgeable for any advice required.

From arriving at Geneva, through the bus transfer, check in and onwards, this really was a fantastic trip holistically but the hotel and its staff made it for us - thoroughly recommend it and we will be back next year for sure!!!

The best 40th present money could buy!

If I could give it a 4.5 rating I would, but I can't, and it falls short of a five rating.  We booked through Inghams and stayed during their first week of opening.  Staff were incredibly friendly and generally pretty efficient.  Hotel is centrally located for restaurants and bars; about a 10 minute stroll to the slopes but Val's very frequent ski bus service is just across the road.   Our room (406) was spacious with huge bed and great walk-in shower.  Food very good throughout:  lots of breakfast options and three choices for each course at dinner, which was very filling (only managed the cheese course a few times).  The free wine included for dinner was surprisingly good as well.  Where it just falls short of a five ranking is maintenance issues:  both jacuzzis in the spa area weren't "bubbling" on day 1 - surely this should have been sorted out - and only one was fixed during our stay.  Bedside reading light was faulty when we arrived - reported straight away but never fixed.  Clock in spa area didn't work - just needed a new battery  - really small point but overlooked,  With a bit more attention to detail this hotel would get a five rating.  But these are niggles really - we had a great week and would recommend the hotel.

Stayed for a week with family recently .
Very helpful attentive staff ,
Rooms spacious , clean and well equipped .
Breakfast , afternoon tea and 5 course evening meal all very good .
Had not booked a package holiday for years but did because of the un certainty of travel brought during the pandemic 
Pleasantly surprised and would travel with inghams again

Excellent service , food and rooms

Firstly this should not be marketed as a chalet. It's a hotel in almost every respect.

GOOD:
 - Decor and cleanliness
 - Quality of furniture and fittings
 - Staff are really good without exception
 - Food is consistently very good with few exceptions
 - Wine is pretty poor but definitely better than most chalet wines

BAD:
 - This is sold as a chalet holiday but there is no social atmosphere at all
 - Dining is always in your own couple/group every night with no opportunity to mix socially
 - They accept large single sex groups and allow very rowdy behaviour. This ruined our evenings for 3 nights
 - Maintenance of faults is poor. Basin blocked and not rectified.

SUMMARY:
This is a really nice place and very up market compared to most mass market ski holidays. BUT it isn't a chalet and their acceptance of single sex rowdy groups is not at all in keeping with the quality they purport to offer.


Good and bad - NOT A CHALET HOLIDAY

Truly a wonderful restaurant and hotel. Meals and choice of wines were outstanding. Skiing in this resort is good, but this hotel and restaurant were certainly the highlight of the stay. We stayed in the penthouse suite - two bedrooms, bathrooms, dining room and sitting room with a balcony nicely situated overlooking the resort and mountain. Fortunate enough to have stayed in many wonderful places - this was surprisingly excellent and certainly worthy of its platinum status.

Wonderful restaurant

I have just returned from a weeks stay in Le Savoie and oh what a week.  Travelling during Covid times can be stressful, especially with all the form filling that it entails! However the minute we arrived at the hotel we were immediately put at ease.  The staff were excellent - exceptionally well trained and polite.  Covid rules were followed impeccably for the entire week.  We can only speak from experience, but we found it to be a 5* one.  The rooms were spacious and clean.  The food was, without exception, excellent.  My only complaint was there was too much!  Fizz and wine were included with the meals and all the wines I tasted were excellent.  
It was unfortunate that the spa facilities were out of action for a few days, but I believe that this was due to circumstances beyond management's control and did not detract from our overall experience.

Amazing staff

We stayed at Hotel Le Savoie for a week. It was not terrible but not a five star hotel. You paying for five star but overall I would rate it a three star. 

Pros
1-staff were friendly and helpful when things went wrong.
2-most of the meals were above average-compliments to the chef. 
3-close to town and ski lift.  
4-clean.

Cons
While many of these points are not an issue in an of themselves, as this hotel was sold to us as 5 star, we expected better. 
1-had to carry our own luggage to and from rooms while staff watched.
2-allocated the incorrect room and had to wait 3 hours for the door to be fixed-which was not even our room
3-check in, breakfast times, dinner times, code to get into hotel etc we’re not explained to us at check in. 
4-staff are not trained to work in a five star hotel, and while friendly, we’re some times unprofessional/ not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
5- Sold to us as having a spa-had to book own massage off an app and organize by ourselves with a third party, who didn’t know where to go etc.
6-some evenings all four courses of dinner was served in 1.5 hours and other nights had to wait nearly an hour to have starters.
7-coffee machine frequently broke down.
8-plastic cups in the rooms, instead of glasses (not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel.)

When you paying for five star you expect a certain level of service. Would of happily stayed here if they claim it’s a three star and you paying for a three star (taking nothing away from the staff who were friendly and amendable - but were not at the level one would expect from a 5 star.)
