Very convenient for motorway and easy to find. Food was very good indeed spacious inside and seating outside on plastic chairs, but accommodation very outdated and tired with towels I would not dry a dog with !! To be fair it was very cheap accommodation and you get what you pat for.

Good food, poor rooms.

Just 2 km off the motorway, just north of Le Mans, a perfect place to stop for a terrific lunch on a large, shaded terrace. Easy to socially distance. The nearest table was at least 10 metres from mine. Was heading back to UK and glad I stopped here. Value for money fixed price menus for anyone's budget. Good wine selection and excellent Normandy cider. Impecable, friendly service. Good, honest food. Alongside the terrace is a large play area for children located underneath trees. Swings, slide, etc. Play area close enough for parents to keep an eye on kids whilst enjoying a 3 or 4 course meal but far enough away so as not to disturb other diners. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back with my wife and dog as both hotel and restaurant are dog friendly. 

Wonderful traditional French country restaurant 

Stop over on route to Spain . Easy to find off motorway . If you are looking for a real French hotel this is the hotel to pick . Super meal and staff. Would def recommend . Car park is opposite the hotel

Warm & cosy in bar/restaurant area but basic décor upstairs in corridor & rooms. Offers great value & good food on the premises without having to go out driving again at the end of a days motoring.A budget but non "plasticy" hotel offering great value for those who prioritise value, convenience & good trad French food over chic decor.

Easy access 2mins. off motorway, comfortable bed, decent size if sparse room, good price & great trad restaurant.

Lovely old traditional French Inn. Easy to find and ideal distance for first stop in France from Le Shuttle. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room very good. Lots of parking and lots of gardens at back to walk our dogs. Dinner very good and bar very friendly. Good breakfast

We had a terrible experience here recently.  Arriving around 7pm after a 12 hour drive from Spain  we were greeted by the (very nice and friendly) member of staff telling us the restaurant was closed and had we had the email (no because it was sent after we arrived when we later checked) and that she was on her own and would cook something for us but we had no menu choice and we had to eat ASAP.  
If we had not been so exhausted and had our dog with us (which makes finding a hotel difficult) we would have walked out there and then but we had no choice but to stay. 
Things got worse - much worse.   
We have stayed here before and, despite it being very 'basic' we found it to be ok for an overnight - but this time the room was infested with ants - all over the floor and also the landing outside.   The poor girl in charge was flustered, her English was minimal - despite the hotel claiming their  staff speak 'English, French and Spanish ' there was no evidence of this - I can't speak French but my Spanish is good and tried this with her to explain about the ants but in the end had to show her.  
She was lovely and moved the room quickly.  
Then onto 'dinner' which was absolutely disgusting and I was unable to eat the first two courses anyway as I do not eat meat.  We drowned our sorrows with a bottle of  house wine (which was very good).  
We did manage a good nights sleep being totally exhausted and left early the next day never, ever to return.

Warning - avoid at all costs.

We stopped for lunch here on a drive back to the UK, prompted by other good Trip Advisor reviews.  We weren't disappointed.

This is a classic French restaurant with excellent food and service of the type that is increasingly difficult to find in France.  I had their value menu at €18 or so, my wife the more up-market €30.  Apart from my wife's first course (prawns) which were not nice and gave her a bad tummy afterward, the rest of the meal was uniformly excellent, served quickly and with smiles.

We will be visiting again (probably avoiding the seafood) and I'll report on our next visit

An excellent classic French restaurant conveniently placed just off the A28 near Alencon.
