We had room 103, on the front of the hotel with a balcony. Plenty of life to watch, but quiet enough if you wanted to sit inside. Room was simple, but quite adequate in size, and equipped as it should be. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Price, and value, were good. Breakfast was the standard French breakfast, and fit the purpose very well. Location is across the road from the beach, and for some of the day the road is pedestrian only. Lots of restaurants just steps from the door. Valras-Plage, as it sounds, is a seaside town, and has all the trimmings of a proper seaside town. We have previously stayed in Portiragnes Plage, a few km to the east; Valras is more lively, and has a lot more to offer. Portiragnes is quiet, appears to have only the Le Mirador Hotel, but has lots of apartments and other accommodation for rent.
