The B&B hotel in vannes is a typical budget hotel. The rooms are comfortable, modern and clean. 
There is plenty of parking available and they close the parking at night which feels safe.

Unfortunately the hotel is not in a quiet area. There is a busy road nearby and across of the hotel there is a metro whole sale store. The alarm of the store went of at night. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel but it went on for hours and it was annoying. From 5 am on weekdays big trucks arrive to deliver goods. Many of the truck drivers leave their engines running so it’s noisy. To keep the noise out I closed the window and switched on the airconditioning. The a/c didn’t cool down or worked properly so it became very hot and stuffy in the room. Not a good night sleep.

If you get allocated to a room NOT facing the wholesale store I think the hotel is ok for an overnight stay.

We had a great stay made so by the to Gentleman who run this Hotel. Very well looked after by them, they pay great attention to people staying there, and great attention to detail.

We look forward to staying at this Hotel again and being greeted by them.

A Memnerable Stay at this Hotel

typicl hotel room,,enough room for everything needed ; good sized bathroom,bigger than your usual closet sized one!
we weren't going to have breakfast but in the end we did & it was well worth the 6euros each, especially if you're going to be out visiting all day.
don't do food but theres another hotel nearby & you can eat or drink there for reasonable prices.

good weekend stay

The hotel itself was what you would expect for the price, the rooms although small were comfortable. Well they were whilst you could relax. On several occassions i heard strange noises outside my door. On opening the door I was met by the gentleman (or not so gentle) whom had met me at front desk earlier and taken my booking details. He looked embarrased at being caught and ran down the hall quickly. I did not sleep well and decided not to tell the woman whom i believed to be his wife. Mainly because my french is nowhere near good enough. For a group party this hotel might be ok for you, but i would advise any single female travellers to take a very wide berth.

Appearances can be decieving.

room is small but functional, no problems with checking in or anything, just a quick id check and off you go. Bedroom was clean, with hot water and a passable restaurant just opposite. Only tip- hang your do not disturb sign on the door- three people walked in our room when they wanted to clean it! I think they expected us to be out by dawn!! But completely fne for an overnight stop as long as your not expecting anything more than a bed for the night.
