I wish I had read these other reviews before booking! 

I like to give places the benefit of the doubt, but accommodation like this, priced so high in peak periods, annoys me. We arrived early evening (and had to walk up from Centre Station as the shuttle buses had finished. This took about 20 minutes). At the residence, we then had to climb, almost on hands and knees, up a steep snowy bank, with all our luggage (see pictures).Then the agent told us we had to return to the office to collect our sheets (which we'd ordered in advance. Could someone not have delivered them earlier for us?)
The paths and entries to the residence were left in deep snow until day 4 of our trip. Going out, particularly at night, was very dangerous. Entry to the apartment was straight from deep snow into a tiled hallway, which was lethal and slippery, with no cloths available to dry the floors from wet footprints. 

I agree with other reviews - this apartment is not adequate for 10 people. We had 8, and whilst there were enough plates and glasses, the storage was non-existent; no hooks and only a few hangers. 

The ski store was nowhere near big enough for 10 people's equipment. We had to store boots and helmets in the apartment, although there was nowhere to put them. Also, there were only two keys to the apartment/ski store, which is not enough for 8-10 people, skiing in different groups and at different times all day.

The bedrooms on the top floor had no storage at all, apart from one chest of drawers (for 4 people). There were only two small lamps up there, and no natural daylight as the Velux windows in the roof were covered with snow.

I wouldn't call this apartment "ski-in/ski out." It took about 10 minutes (carrying equipment) to get to the car park down the road to access the nearest slope. This was exhausting at the end of the day coming back uphill.

Our teenage children (and us too) were appalled there was no wifi. Even phone coverage was very poor. They should make this clear when advertising or booking.

We liked the resort of Vars very much - great skiing, but would choose different accommodation next time.
