I stayed for 5 nights with my daughter on a trip to see the lavender fields...
What an absolute gem of a find. The Bastide is in the most wonderful location with amazing views. Our room was superb and well tastefully furnished. We had an amazing stay and Daniela and Yannic were the perfect hosts
The other guests were so lovely and made us both feel so welcome. 
Home now in Brighton uk 🇬🇧 but memories will last a very long time

My little piece of heaven

Charm, a well-maintained service and a perfect reception, full of tips for exploring and the right addresses in the area. The heated pool and super calm location make this place a real paradise and a drop-off point for rest and exploration of all of Provence.

A small paradise in Provence

My husband and I stayed here for five nights in late August/early September. While our stay was fine overall, we remain shocked by how misleading the website and brochure for this bed and breakfast is. Yes there are two pools but only one can be used by guests. There is a small bar but you need to request in advanced to have it opened in the evening. Yes there is a hot tub but it’s broken and empty. There is no snack bar or restraurant - in fact there’s no access to food whatsoever outside of breakfast hours (no honor bar or mini bar).  The lounge and library doors are locked during the day and night. And the website still advertises ALL of the above as amenities. You should not put your guests in a position where they need to ask for everything. Given the above, we felt that we significantly overpaid for what we got. In fact, our 1400€ invoice was wrapped in a brochure highlighting all of these non-existent amenities... what a slap in the face!  Another couple who stayed at the same time complained about some of these same things. 

A few things about the stay that we did enjoy were that Daniela’s restaurant recommendations were excellent, she was very responsive on email in advance of our trip and our room was very clean.

Not As Advertised

My husband and I spent four nights at this lovely Inn in August. The views of the Luberon valley from the breakfast patio and pool are breathtaking. The Josephine suite also has a lovely semi private patio where you can enjoy your wine and overlook the valley. The hotel grounds are lush with terraced flowering plants and shrubs. Lavender, rosemary and plum trees surround the property. The pool is the perfect place to cool off at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The village of Menerbes is quaint and unique, with several good restaurants to try. The owner Daniela is helpful and hospitable but if you speak only English then you must communicate only with her, as her husband Yannik does not speak English. 
Breakfast each morning is served outside on their lovely terrace. The coffee and fresh croissants were wonderful. Yannik will make eggs to order if asked.
I will also mention to other travelers to be cautious of bringing your own wine to the inn as Daniela charges a €10 corkage fee each time you ask for wine glasses and ice to chill your rose’. Daniela said that this was a French standard but not something I was not aware of so I thought other travelers might be interested to know. 
Of all of the towns we visited during our 4 day stay we agreed that Menerbes is the most lovely and that the Bastide du Tinal was our special haven.

30th wedding anniversary

Very nice accomodation with nice big rooms in style. The rooms are big and clean. The house is very nice in nice place with big pool. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. Everything is very nice and confortable in French style.

Perfect

We spent two nights at the Bastide. The reception at Daniela & Yannic was warm and friendly. The room was very clean, air-conditioned and well decorated. The shower was large, the bed very comfortable. The Bastide and the garden are tastefully decorated and very well maintained. The pool is also very beautiful, with a magnificent view of the surroundings. The breakfast was plentiful and varied with wineries, yogurt, fruit salads and some houses prepared. Pedestrian access to the village of Menerbes from the Bastide. An exceptional place where it is good and we had a great time. I hope we will return there.

A perfect weekend to the sound of the cigars.

It's even hard to describe staying at this place, because it's incredibly beautiful, well decorated, quiet! A wonderful view of the region, a cozy and beautiful room in the little details and Daniela's huge receptivity. We highly recommend this hotel for people who are looking for peace of mind and a full experience of happiness! Breakfast is wonderful too. In Menerbes there isn't much to do, so we suggest buying some food and drinks in the afternoon to enjoy the night at the hotel itself. We drank wine and ate cheese all night long. Since it was cold, we didn't stay on the balcony, but if you allow the program to get even more enjoyable! Enjoy!

It was a unique experience!

We stayed a week at the Bastide for the second time and chose another room (Manon). We were just as satisfied. Magical places, green and flowery setting, heated dream pool...and fantastic welcome! We love the Bastide du Tinal and are looking forward to going back a third time next year.

That's perfect!

We spent two days in this wonderful bastide that enchanted us. The hospitality is perfect, the owners of the place have a sense of sharing and are very attentive to their guests. They know how to combine the friendliness of a guest house with the service worthy of a luxurious hotel. The house is a haven of peace and beauty, everything is decorated with taste and refinement. The environment is just extraordinary, with a magical view and a garden that we can call exceptional. The swimming pool allows you to enjoy the atmosphere and the breakfast in the morning facing the landscape is magical. We were lucky enough to have dinner on the spot and the meal was at the top of the word. Just a treat for the eyes, thank you for the magical environment in this place, Daniela Yannicki and thank you for the magical papillons!
