I'm pregnant, Room 127 the air conditioning was not working, it was 32 degrees outside and the room was boiling as at the front of hotel. I set it on 15 degrees on cool and after 3 hours it was still nearly 26 degrees! I complained to reception to move rooms, but was told the hotel was full and there was no spare rooms.  The lady on reception was rude and said she could not check the air conditioning in my room (which I had paid for in booking and needed it) She told me to message Celine the director which I did, the message I got back from her was next time you stay at Verdun budget you will receive a commercial gesture?  Well, I'm not planning on coming back, i would like some compensation back for this room ASAP..  I have asked for this but my message on booking.com has been ignored.  I had to sleep in my friends room as air conditioning was working in theirs.  Absolutely disgusting way to treat customers.   I am still awaiting a refund!!!!!!

The service was really unfriendly and threatened to call the police if we weren't absolutely quiet and not stayed in the rooms from 10 p.m. onwards.

It was just a mess.

We were here on a study trip, and at the beginning we were threatened directly with police if the volume was too low after 10 p.m. At breakfast, we were rationed with croissants so that we didn't take more than one, and the drink machines were turned off, and among the operators and employees there was apparently a competition to see who looked the most unfriendly, and they all took part.

Bad hotel with poor service

Unfortunately, we booked a room through the hotel's website that arrived on the scene around midnight and the reservation code received after my reservation was validated was not working, and we called the emergency department and they said I can't do it for you, and we tried the code for over an hour, which means the night service is useless.

It's a shame.

Hello after our stay we forgot our AirPods (located) in the room, we called them they were looking for.A week after nothing after several calls and well on we can't locate them anymore.This will be a lesson for us to remember nothing in an ibis.

Hotel close to all amenities Exterior and interior very clean comfortable room clean and spacious staff attentive and helpful lunch varied I highly recommend this establishment

It's perfect.

Very nice stay, very welcoming staff, a nice breakfast with a very nice Nutella pump. The room was clean and well arranged. There's plenty of parking space.

Staying in Verdun

Nice stay at this hotel, nice house and a varied breakfast with a vending machine that offers a lot of drinks, the nutella distributor is a good idea, quiet with a large parking lot, I had a comfortable, relaxing weekend.

If you're looking for a good hotel

We got robbed at Ibis Budget in Verdun :(

We arrived at Ibis Budget after 10pm on July 12, after having tried another hotel of the same hotel chain in the area. We booked and paid Ibis Budget from our phones at arrival, still in the hotel parking lot. And then - when we inserted our reservation code into the machine in front of the hotel, the machine told us that our code was not valid.

There was no one at the hotel. There was no way to get in, although we had paid the hotel and gotten our reservation code in the internet just then and there.

When trying to call and at the end email the person responsible for the hotel, the worst is that we received a practically insulting email back implying that we were just trying to lie to them to get our money back for no reason, that they considered us a "no-show" to the hotel. They denied that there had been any problem with their IT systems, although their machine had given us an error message saying our booked and paid reservation code was not valid.

We are in shock for the horrible experience. We paid but were not able to enter to the hotel. And to boot, we received an insulting response from the person responsible for the hotel.

We are escalating the issue and still trying to get our money back at Accor Hotels, to which Ibis Budget belongs.

Horrible experience at Ibis Budget, Verdun

The lights turned on themselves and flickered all night long and the leg of the bed was broken. The room didn’t allow any privacy. At 8am, there was no breakfast, no more food to eat, no more milk/orange juice to drink. And the toilets made a huge sound when the door closed itself.
