We can't believe more people don't rate this hotel/restaurant poorly.  The Room is very old, small and hot, no fan or ventilation at all the room was 28 deg. C at 10 pm.  Pool was so full of algae there was a snail dining and he was fat too.  Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages.  I'm a regular swimmer and own a pool of my own and I wouldn't ask anyone to swim in a pool that dirty.  The restaurant while nice looking doesn't give good value for money.  We wanted to eat early and the host said we could be served @ 1930, but when we arrived we were offered only 2 courses, an antipasta and frozen squid in a sauce over rice.  There was nothing else available.  While we ate by 2000 the waitress brought out the menu for other diners.  So for 2 starters and 2 primis we paid 70 Euro for that and a half litre of house wine plus water.  The waitress was unapologetic, and the entire staff acts like they take no pride in what they are presenting.

Apathetic Staff / Filthy Pool

Me and my family stayed here for a fortnight in July. The hotel is actually in Vico which is a quiet town about 45 minutes from Ajaccio so its a rather peaceful and tranquil spot, but is only 15 minutes away from the nearest beaches in Sagonne. Its a great spot to use as a base with easy access to the main roads, although you will need a car. 
We stayed half board for the duration of our holiday and the meals were fantastic with four courses every night and a large variety of meals across the week. The hotel manager is also very accomodating if there is something you don't like on the set menu you can easily swap to something off the a la carte. The breakfasts are simple with fresh croissants and bread but sufficient. The restaurant area is a lovely part of the hotel 
The hotel has a nice, although quite small, pool area, equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers. The rooms are rather traditionally decorated but are kept clean and are very comfortable. Wi-fi is also available, although it does not work in all the rooms so you have to go down to the lounge. 
Overall a great place to stay, its a traditional family run hotel where the manager, Jean-Pierre, tries hard to make you feel at home.

Lovely, Quiet and close to the mountains and the beach!

I was there in July of 2006, I went there with my girlfriend and my moto.
We had a parking for my moto, and if need for car.
The town is very little, but you can find all you need.
When we arrived we get a good welcome from An old woman, she was the mother of the hotel keeper.
He bring us to our room, not big but ok, old style, very clean and a very silence place.
Downstair there is a romance terrace, where we had breakfast and dinner, you can see the valley between the mountains.
We spent 75€ per night for room, normal for that season.
