Only a couple of miles from St. Emillion, and charming in its location shared with probably 25 hens and roosters, in the middle of 30-year-old vines, this handy Gite has inside-the gate free parking, a great breakfast, and is easy to find, even without a GPS. The heat/cooling took some getting-used-to-its operation, and the room, while basic with private bath, was satisfactory.

Excellent location close to St. Emillion and surrounding attractions, and bordering a vineyard.

It is worth staying at this excellent guest house if only to meet the owner Celine! She is absolutely charming and made us feel so welcome, including our two doggies. The room was large, but cosy, spotlessly clean and well equip. The bed was large, stylish and comfy. Delicious and plentiful breakfast, with homemade brioche, yoghurt and jams! Perfect location for visiting St Emilion, which is close by. Very pet friendly! We would highly recommend this French guest house, as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would hope to visit again.

Wonderful Experience

What was not to like about Peyroutas? Firstly, we had the warmest welcome imaginable from Celine’s husband David. We arrived late in the afternoon and David was extremely helpful with advising local restaurants and attractions.
And our room!!!! Totally French Provincial and totally beautiful ♥️  our room was very spacious and had everything in it that we needed.  The communal kitchen was very well stocked with tea, coffee, little Madeleine cakes (yum) and was very excited inviting. We had our complimentary continental breakfast in here, prepared by Celine (who is so chatty and friendly).
Although we didn’t have our dog with us, another couple did - and there didn’t appear to be any issues with bringing a fur-baby along.
The views were lovely, and the outdoor areas were very relaxing. 
I would highly recommend this accommodation - there was absolutely nothing about it i didn’t like!!

A beautiful place to stay

Two lovely rooms, each with ensuite, well furnished and comfortable.
A  kitchen/dining/tv corner room for guests-all well equipped.
A lovely breakfast is provided with products made by the charming host Céline-
home-made yoghurt, brioche, jams.  Nothing was too much trouble for Céline who also gave us good recommendations as to where to dine and visit in Saint-Emilion.
We definitely recommend this chambre d'hôte.

A great place to stay near Saint-Emilion

Situated close to St.Emillion its a perfect place to stay, lovely rooms with a kitchen to use & have breakfast.
The owner is keen to make sure that you have everything you require, breakfast is a pleasant experience eaten with other guests.

Perfect Place to Stay

We were travelling in the Bordeaux region with my brother-in-law and his wife. This was their first trip to France.  When the 4 of us arrived at this B&B, I was disappointed that the house was on a road with a great deal of traffic. But the rooms turned out to be quiet and comfortable.  Breakfast was lovely, with the brioche and jams being homemade.

But what made our stay absolutely stellar was the service Mme. Cabot provided.  She enabled my sister-in-law to get some badly-needed medicine, as well as reserving a table for us at a wonderful restaurant close by.  To top it off, the next morning my sister-in-law discovered she had left her purse at the restaurant.  Mme. Cabot immediately stopped what she was doing and called the establishment to find that the purse had been set aside and held until she came to get it.  
I would most definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to visit the Bordeaux wine region.  It's 3 minutes by car to St-Emilion.  And you will never find a more accommodating hostess.

An extraordinary hostess

We found this ' chambres d'hotes' in internet and sometimes it deserves something REALLY GREAT! The house is closed to St.Emilion, easy to find and a perfect startpoint to visit the wineyards!
We loved our bedroom, pretty clean and comfortable! Most of all, we are really satisfied with Celine,the owner, her smiles and her Pan Brioches and homemade marmelade for breakfast. Thank you very much and we'll raccomend the place to everyone who loves simply but incredible persons!
