We booked a vacation with 3 families in this house. After arriving. All felt a bit old and not up to good standards. For example the lights in the pool where lose and floating around (we where scared the kids would get elektrified). All kitchenery and matrasses etc where old. Worst of all though, was that after accepting that is was not what we hoped it would be, we made the best out of this vacation. But after checking out and leaving the house in a clean condition, like you’re supposed to do when leaving, the owners started to charge us 1100 euro!! Why? Because he claimed it was our fault the lamp was lose, he charged us a 500! for a new dishwasher because something was stuck in the pipes. All and all, totally insane charges and we ended up paying 500,- due to negotiation assistance via airbnb. But we still feel like it is unfair and they sort of found a loophole in the airbnb system to make extra money. Start with 1100 end up getting 500. 

I say with all sincerity that we left the house tidy and that we had to pay 500 euros for fraudulent practices. Don’t trust these people.

Very disappointed!!

The ancient charm of this building with its 1786 solar dial is undeniable! whether in the large crystal pool or under the shade of the glycine by listening to the song of the spring, whether in the simple but comfortable room, whether behind its thick walls that keep the murmurs of the past, everything here breathes the authentic: it is the Provençal paraded with its sun, its blue sky and its chickens... and when in addition the welcome is at the rendezvous...!

The paradox...

Very welcome from Maya and Eric, who are always available to answer our questions. A beautiful area, a home of peace and tranquility, a very pleasant swimming pool for a morning swim before breakfast and to enjoy at the end of the day. Good breakfast accompanied by delicious homemade jams. We had as much fun as during our previous two stays. Thank you Maya and Eric.

Quiet and resourceful, beautiful building & swimming pool

For the third year in a row, we enjoyed a few days in one of the bedrooms offered by Eric and Maya. This year, our 3-month-old boy was part of the party and he too was received like a king: we were moved into a larger room, enjoying a very enjoyable space when traveling with a baby. As we had warned the owners, we could count on a baby bed and a baby bath, not counting, of course, what made us come back for the third time: the beautiful setting, the sound of the fountain in the yard, the varied breakfast and the swimming pool at the end of the day.

The perfect place to relax before recovery

A warm home in a nice, quiet, simple setting, a beautiful swimming pool with all the amenities available, a quality bed in good-sized rooms with the charm due to the age of the house, and the owners are there discreetly but with little attention and attention.

What a beautiful, authentic building

The house is very nice, in a charming place, but the bed is spartan and would need to be changed: very thin mattresses and crumbs of pillows.

Pleasant holiday despite the owners

We spend two nights at this very nice guesthouse outside the lovely little town of Villedieu. The main building dates from 1786, and the owners are most welcoming, helpful and friendly. There is a lovely garden and swimming pool to relax, the rooms are large and well appointed, and the surrounding farms makes this a lovely place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended.
