We picked Auberge St Jean as it was a good price.  When we arrived we were shown our room.  We managed to get a beer each but that was it! We could get no WiFi as the place was closed.  The lady who let us in got in her car and left! 
It doesn’t appear to open before 7pm. This was not advertised on Booking.com where we booked.  We will not be back. Not impressed 


Not Great

We are walking the Via Francigena and took transport from Tergnier to spend the night at Aulberge Saint Jean. The rooms are comfortable and the main hotel is very tastefully decorated and lovely. We dinned in and the experience has been one of the best in France.

Excellent Place to Stay and dine

How good is this place in Villequier-Aumont! The hosts are generous and kind. We had 2 nights here on a long public holiday weekend and the hosts were considerate and caring for us. We had no food and needed some washing done while walking the Via Francigena. No problem. Thanks for your hospitality. 

Super service

It worked out a bit dear for us. 5 euros per small beer and the restaurant cost was not a "bargain" which we had hoped for in an Auberge. The food was divine though. Rooms we stayed in were in an extension and a bit basic small and cold. Very clean so all good just not 5 bubble level. Compared to the previous stay we felt underwhelmed but it was still a nice place. Is also in the middle of nowhere so if a little bit of nightlife is your thing this is not the place for you.

Nice enough great food adequate room

Room efficient, and the Auberge is in a quiet area. Breakfast sufficient but the restaurant was closed the evening we were there so we ate out. Nobody there when we arrived but found the room as the key was in the door of the annex.

Quiet

The room was comfortable and the location was very quiet. The staff were brilliantly helpful and the food at the restaurant was excellent (we had both lunch and dinner). Free parking on site, and wifi in the rooms, but not the hotel/restaurant reception.
