We spent 4 very pleasant nights in the Armorique and Baoulé rooms, which look like an apartment with their kitchen and living quarters. Valérie is both warm and discreet. She is very good advice for everything related to visits. The breakfasts are very generous. The decoration, whether it is the rooms or the living room and the mezzanine, is very successful. And what a joy after a day of visiting in the heat to be able to enjoy the pool and the jacuzzi!!

A perfect guest house, a perfect host, the house is beautifully decorated, the rooms too, it's clean, spacious, swimming pool, jacuzzi, breakfast is delicious.

Whatever the reason for your stay in Lyon, this address is for you. Valérie, the hostess is both: warm, welcoming, tonic, generous, attentive, discreet and caring. She watches over all her guests, presents them and thus allows for nice meetings. You will move around in her house with simplicity and convenience. The house is wonderfully decorated and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Her husband and children are in her image, so you will understand, this guest house is the place where you enjoy putting your suitcases.

It is at this address that human warmth, hospitality and well-being take their full meaning.

It is located on the outskirts of Villeurbanne and Lyon 6th, and is well placed, with a small guest house, and everything from the beauty of the place to the gentleness of the bed.

A parenthesis in a bustling city

Valerie was the perfect host and we enjoyed our 3 nights in her and Phillippe's converted Silk Factory. Valerie arranged for us and our luggage to be collected from the station - on top of this Valerie had left a bottle of wine in our room as an 'apology' for not greeting us herself on arrival.   Gorgeous breakfast included special touches of Lyonnaise pastries. 

Valerie was helpful with suggestions of local places to see and encouraged us to try a Bouchon where we could discover the delights of Lyonnaise food.  We used the Metro and also walked from the Chambre d'Hotes into town.  We loved Holiday the Jack Russell and wanted to bring home with us.

The Basilique Notre Dame de fouviere and Roman Amphitheatres are both worth a visit.

Great Accommodation

We were driving from Paris on the way to the south and decided to stay here for a night, turn out to be a great surprise. The GPS brought from home didn't take us long to get to the spot, on a narrow one-way street, where from the outside it doesn't look like a regular house but once we entered into the livingroom, wow, it is spacious with a ceiling two-story high, a couple of weavering mechineries were on display, reminding you the history of the building. A nice out-door swimming pool and an in-door juccuzi sit in the back. We stayed in the north-facing room on the 2nd floor, its window opens to the pool below and nice view out. Big bedroom, comfortable bed, lots of storage space. The pride owner Valerie welcomed us in with drinks and snacks. She told us her BnB stories, the town, and we all shared our families little secretes.. The breakfast was perfect. However parking on the street is hard to find so we used her garage. We felt streets to be very safe. It took us about 10-15 minutes walking to the metro station where the train headed to the old town of Lyon.  The BnB surrundings are mostly residential, no shops/cafe in the immediate parameter.  now, we've found a home in Lyon.
