Excellent quality/price ratio for a 2-star hotel. Very well located hotel, 2 steps from the train station and public parking. The managers are very friendly and the quality of service is excellent. As I will be brought back to Vitré my choice will be made quickly and without any hesitation.

A very pleasant stay

It's a great little hotel in the heart of the old Vitré. The managers are adorable. Our room was very cute. Our breakfast was a good choice for a two-star hotel. We had taken our room on the weekend from the bakery and we didn't hear anything from the hotel.

It's a small, clean hotel with a nice breakfast. Very nice, friendly and professional managers. I feel fine, it suits me because I don't really appreciate the crowd. For me, it's perfectly suited to my needs. Thank you to my guests.

A friendly welcome

We stayed here one night which, was sufficient.
Our standard double room was cramped, too small really for two people. 
We were disturbed by late night noise from the restaurant across the road and also by drunks returning home, shouting in the street (and this was midweek). We could have closed the window however, needed the ventilation as the room would have been airless otherwise (no aircon). I did not sleep well.
On the plus side, the hotel is centrally located in the old part if town, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff friendly.
Free parking can be found on Rue Rallon and off Rue Pasteur.
From our personal experience, I do not think this hotel represents good value for money. 


Underwhelming experience

Very nice hotel in the centre of Vitré. You can easily park in the public car park a few meters away. Family room for 4 people. Very convenient with children. Clean, bright and quite spacious room. Very good value for money. I highly recommend.

Very good price-quality ratio

The owner is very comfortable and has a great sense of service and listening. Very satisfying room (special mention for the bedding at the top!) Nice lunch. Bathroom, dry hair, everything was there. Thank you very much!

Like at home.

15 years ago I discovered the Minotel for the first time! It's my only falling point when I go to Vitré and there's no reason for this to change: the staff is nice, with a developed sense of customer service. You can park either along the main artery or in the nearby Sncf parking lot. The rooms are clean, look very current, the bedding impeccable. Never disappointed in 15 years!

15 years of faithfulness

A very nice little hotel with a very attentive staff, and the person who hosted our arrivals (the owner I believe) was very good advice about restaurants or local heritage.

I recommend it!

Situated on a main - but quiet - street within easy reach of a marvellous chateau, lots of good restaurants and the station,  what isn't there to like? We had a comfortable room with bath on the first floor overlooking the boulangerie.  The landlord was very obliging, especially as my husband had got the booking dates wrong, but humourously and efficiently found us a room so we stayed two nights and took advantage of the extra day to explore this much under rated little town.  The bar is well patronised - a good advert for the host!  Breakfast was served here; not outstanding but far better than the coffee, stale bread and plastic jam that you can get in France. There is limited on street parking, but you can also use the three reserved spaces at the station.  Thoroughly recommend the hotel and the town.

Budget priced town centre hotel

I stayed here earlier in the week. The location is minutes on foot from the Gare, and it is centrally located to shops, restaurants and cafes. The room was very comfortable, lovely view from the balcony of rue de la Poterie, and it was really quiet for sleeping. The bathroom had a bath and shower, and the water pressure was amazing. Christophe and Aurelia are very friendly and helpful. Oh, and it's good value for money. Go there...
