Apart from the rickety balustrade, this place was a little gem. Even though it was right on the main artery road through the village, it somehow exuded an air of tranquillity..
The " meeter and greeter" who I immediately nicknamed "Manual" aka Fawlty Towers simply because of the speed with which appeared to do everything and his unquestioning enthusiasm for every task but best of all his constant smiling face. He was a delight to have around.
Comfortable small but perfectly formed bedroom, superb food and service which provided a much needed 'fillip' to our tiring touring. Well done to all involved.

A little pearl of a place.

We spent one week at the hotel with demi-pension (breakfast and dinner included).  Superb service at the hotel and restaurant.  Prices were reasonable.  Food was local and very tasty.  And the artisanal ice cream was to die for.  Chapeau a Karine et Marc - merci !

Amazing Experience

We only booked this place at the last minute looking for something on the main road to Corte.  What a pleasant surprise,  it's hard to find any fault,  the one possible negative was that the room was quite small but very nice.

The food in the restaurant was top notch and the owner did his best to translate Corsican to English,  if you eat there have the charcuterie as it was excellent. 

The breakfast was more modest but still good. 

A real find 

I really can't fault this hotel - clean, comfortable, good service, in a lovely remote location. The views were amazing and it was lovely to feel like part of village life, listening to the bells of the nearby church and having a wander through the streets.

Pleasantly surprised

Pleasantly surprised by this comfortable, clean and suitably appointed hotel, well located next to the church in Vivario which is a quaint village with genuine character. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and went out of his way to put our bikes away safely and have them ready again for us to leave in the morning. Dinner was excellent local fare, again presented with charming and helpful service. Would not hesitate to recommend this property for both meals and accommodation.

A Real Treat

Really delicious superb food.  The owner was so friendly as well and helpful with the wine list.  We felt like we'd discovered a little gem. What I particularly enjoyed was there were more than 1 vegetarian option. (I became an expert on cannelloni au brocciu in Corse!) Particularly the leek fritters were yummy.
