We booked this accommodation on the basis of a promenade location and a sea view.  Their website does not have exterior photos which would have shown it sits back from the promenade and the view is obscured by two properties in front of it.  The owner's attitude was most unhelpful.  I would not recommend le Nautilus.

Not a proper sea view

Very nice little guest-house 30 meters from the sea. Nice room, with rather large bathroom. Not dedicated parking, but there are plenty of streets nearby where one can park - at the end of August it was not a problem, but maybe during July this is more difficult. Good french breakfast with some local cheeses.

Week-end stay

This is a difficult one to write as I don't want to be unfair, simply because the hosts were very charming ....... but........the location is excellent and within easy reach of the beach, the main street and some good restaurants. The room was clean, functional and tastefully decorated and the bathroom well appointed. I need to point out here that creative photography gives the illusion that the rooms are bigger than they actually are, an initial disappointment but forgiven quickly, mainly due to the tasteful finishing touches. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well.

We paid up front as is the policy for this particular venue, not a problem but again worth noting. 

It was unfortunate that being able to make contact with anyone when we arrived was challenging,  we spent a good 20 mins trying to contact someone and working out how we get in.

Breakfast was hit and miss or on our last day totally unavailable, twice the staff were late to serve breakfast, the first time by 30 mins and the second time we waited 40 mins and then gave up and walked to high street and had breakfast there.

Its a shame because this B&B has a lot going for it and the staff are friendly and charming but it left us feeling a bit awkward and embarrassed not knowing who to contact and how and wishing breakfast had been available when promised

3 Night Stay Hoped for More

The rooms are large, nicely if quaintly decorated, with coffee tea etc. Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed, a very good and quiet sleep.
Hotel is very close to the beach and a short walk to the Rue Carnot, the main street with most of the restaurants etc.
Breakfast is good.
The hotel owner was very pleasant and helpful.
We had trouble finding this hotel on the Rue Leon Fayolle (a one way street).  The sign is not big.  Once you get to the blue posts on the right you have arrived.
My only gripe was that there is no dedicated parking, so one parks on the street.  Not a problem when we visited but I imagine in summer when the tourists are swarming it might be a bit difficult to find somewhere close by.

Very pleasant small guest house near the beach

Le Nautilus isn't a hotel, but what it is a really great B&B, in a super location 50yards from the sea from / beach in Wimereux.  Our bedroom had been revamped in a retro style and had an amazing shower room en suite. It is run by a young guy Baptiste who will sort the french style breakfast. Simple and friendly.
