We stumbled across this restaurant by chance and it was a really lovely find. The welcome was warm, the food was very tasty and the surroundings were very pleasant. The staff were friendly and whilst we tried our best with the language whenever it became a problem we were helped out by them speaking English. A great taste of France and we’d highly recommend it

Very good price ratio

Not a nice modern room like the one in the hotel photo. No! a very small Vetust room with a view of a staircase! Sea view C is not at all that, C is far away, at the Horizon! a very small bed... shortly to avoid.

How to Avoid

Fortunately the staff is super super nice, good catering, varied and delicious but from the management point of view they are super cold and very unpleasant not even a hello ext!!!!

Direction zero

I've never seen this before! I book a room and inform that I'll arrive between 7pm and 8pm (after my day of work and a little road trip) and there, surprise! I'm told that arrivals are at 6pm maximum! Incredible! That said, when I read the reviews, I understand better! So I canceled my booking, notice to the amateurs, a room is now available. But come early otherwise..... I wonder what would have happened if I hadn't warned you of my arrival time! Hallucinating!!!

A hotel you can't get to after 6:00 p.m.

We were there in July 2021 for the 37th year in a row for 1 week, under slightly restrictive Coronaspecial conditions and experienced, as in all previous decades, very friendly, extremely hardworking staff and a very tasty evening kitchen offering. Although not in a restaurant garnished with many antiques due to the crisis, but only in the front of the sober bar, the fish and meat dishes were absolutely sufficient and tasty in the context of the ever-present series. Clearly, the boss regrets the higher utilization rates of the preCorona era and runs behind, but the quality of the baked goods has not declined in comparison to the old ones: the quality of the meat and the flavors of a modern hotel has never been as clear as it is in the past.

Rustic, cozy hotel with sea view and past flair

Good cooking and good service, but the boss is a crazy person who asked us to leave his establishment (we had finished eating and even paid for it already) telling us to 'come back to our country' and'stay in our Belgium of c...' and 'Belgian salons'.

We were thinking of going into a restaurant, actually it's a low-floor brewery, brown formica tables no napkins (not even paper) just a set (paper).

Avoid It Absolutely

The whole hotel is mobilized to.. serve the boss's delirious rules, as obsolete as the hotel. Clean room but obviously from the 80s with superb views but: poorly closing windows, bathtub without mixers, bird's cuts on the bathroom window sill... Bref Hotel badly maintained. On the other hand, the boss probably picks up having a high-end establishment, without notifying the reservation, he forbids the evening in his restaurant (very correct otherwise) the details of what you want at the small council must be served the day before (a first for me who is often in the shower...) The terrace serves the coffee shopers only at 11:15am (explains the bartender, she often refuses to install the bar, it's not very good for the rest of the world).

Very well located and a good restaurant, but...

Went there for breakfast - only coffee on offer. There were 3 of us. As there were only 2 chairs (outside table), we took an additional chair (there was no staff to assist). The owner was very rude over this. Will not go back.
