We loved our stay at Du cote des Remparts. We were made so welcome by our hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Our breakfasts were delicious with many homemade products from the garden. The cakes were particularly scrumptious. We would love to visit again and cannot recommend the place too highly. Thank you so much for allowing us to visit your beautiful home. We loved Vodka. X

Amazing Accommodation. 

We have travelled to more than 70 countries and stayed in top class hotels . The stay at the charming Bed & Breakfast in Wissembourg was a top score on all levels. Our room with terrace was spotless, very private and incredibly quiet . The decor was a wonderful mix of antique and modern and our Hostess thought of every little detail to make us feel very welcome . The breakfast was truly out of this world . All offerings were locally sourced, home made , super fresh and absolutely wonderful. Nothing better than to start a long day of driving with a beautiful set table and good French food.

World class accommodations

This was was our third trip to Wissembourg and we were very very luck that we found the Chambre d'hôtes Du côté des remparts on tripadvisor becusd that location is so so so nice and everybody running the Chambre d'hôtes Du côté des remparts is so friendly. It is such a friendly family and everything is so nice there from the garden to the room to the breakfast well you just feel like home...!!!!!

Best in Wissembourg 

I spent 1 night in this charming place and fell in love. The atmosphere is so cozy, the hosts are delicious people who really care about their customers. The decoration is very modern, with high end decoration, very good taste. The breakfast is do delicious with a lot of home made products. The location is unique. I can't wait to be back. 

What amazing place to stat!

We stayed here for 4 nights in September. We booked a room with a door to the garden. Guests can use the pretty garden which has plenty of reclining chairs and tables with chairs to sit and drink or eat. Sadly we only caught a glimpse of the red squirrels that regularly visit! The bathroom was modern and spotless, as was the whole house. Our room had an additional sofa bed. The room had good heating and the large bed was very comfortable. Our hostess, Valerie, spoke French and German and pretty good English. Her breakfasts were amazing with a good selection of local cheeses and many things, such as clafoutis or spiced apple cake, freshly baked, by her, that morning with different pastries available each day. There were also cereals, fresh and dried fruit, Jams that were home made, yogurt and a wide variety of high quality teas. We came to call our breakfasts 'Valeries's Calories! The property also has a room with leaflets, maps, local information and a coffee machine, tea making facilites and a small fridge where guests can keep drinks cool. The guesthouse is in a lovely location adjacent to a steam and the walk around the remparts. The tourist office provides a map for this walk which gives good views of the town and backstreets. The main town is barely a 5 minutes walk with a number of good restaurants and cafes. This is a good base from which to explore the area but the town itself is well worth a visit and was very quiet and peaceful when we were there in September.
