A family-run guest house very friendly, fantastic views from the shared guest terrace and breakfast/ general lounge. 
They can also arrange for a 4x4 to take you up the mountain to the church, this is well worth the trip.

One night stay

The most valuable thing about this hotel is the spectacular view of Mount Kazbek. You can drink beer on the terrace or coffee in the morning... and in front of you the Caucasus Mountains. The owner can be a great guide for you.

Great view 

The hotel was very cozy (built over a residential house) with good spacious rooms and bathrooms, but despite the heating it was very cool, I didn't even want to get out of the blanket. (though then we found out that the owner forgot to add a gas burner...nobody asked for it, so it's normal) But here they were the culprits, you had to ask. We spent the evening in a guest room with a fireplace and wine. It was very cozy and warm.

The Kazakhs for one night

Nice hostess, clean and spacious rooms with views, great breakfast, community room with views of the church and Kazbek. In 5 minutes you can walk to the main square. The price is moderate. Recommended!

Nice room, great view of the community room, great breakfast.

We stayed for one night, at a fairly reasonable price, considering that everything was expensive in Stepanzminde. Wi-fi was not available, even though we asked once. A nice glassed porch with a nice soundproofing, excellent decoration, a nice bathroom with a shower and a curtain - shampoo, gels, paper.

It looks great, comfortable and beautiful!

The main attraction of this hotel is the view from the windows, or rather from the common guest room with the fireplace. It's a very cozy place. The hotel is generally good and the owners are very friendly and responsive. But there are some points that those who go there in the winter like us should take into account.

It's a good place.

It is near from center, clean hotel rooms, with restroom, where you can get free coffee and tea, and on the top of hotel is veranda with great view - mountains and Gergeti Church. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

View is great, Clean and Comfortable. Recommended

We went there to eat something for dinner, but were a bit afraid about the prices. For us, the food was delicious and affordable, however the serving was a bit slow (but faster than at many other places in this country). We went back twice, so we would recommend it!

Delicious food and nice staff

We had a very nice stay at the Veranda Guesthouse. Our room was a decent size and spotlessly clean. Wi-fi good. Bed was comfortable and shower hot and strong. We were able to arrange for the owner’s father to drive us up to the church early in the morning (50 lari) to beat the crowds that descend upon this scenic spot later in the day. It is possible to arrange breakfast here for 15 lari, but because of a small miscommunication and time constraints we ate instead at a small restaurant in town, a short distance walk from the guest house. Recommend. 

Affordable accommodation in Kazbegi with great views

The room was very clean, neat, cozy with comfortable wooden beds and nice carpets. We were greeted very kindly, everyone told us and called a car to go up the mountain (the locals go up the mountain to the Hergeti temple on their jeeps because it's dangerous to drive in their car). There are two veranda in the house: closed, very nicely decorated, and open with a hammock, beds and a breathtaking view of the mountains! We enjoyed the view all night long by sitting on the bed with a cup of tea (which is, by the way, provided in unlimited access).
