We had an amazing stay at Gegi House in Kutaisi, which truly captured the essence of Georgian hospitality. The accommodation was simple but spotless, and we were welcomed with homemade wine. Every morning, we enjoyed fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the garden, including figs, apricots, and tomatoes. Gegi House is located on a hill, about a 15-20 minute walk from the city center. Our host generously offered rides into town and gave us great recommendations for local sights. They even helped arrange a reliable driver, making our trips convenient and affordable. Despite the language barrier, communication was easy with the help of a translation app. Evenings spent sharing stories over homemade wine made our stay feel truly authentic. We highly recommend Gegi House for anyone seeking a genuine Georgian experience.
