We stayed here for three nights and it was lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. This guest house has a very nice little restaurant downstairs and has a mimimart attached to it. Great Georgian breakfast as well to give you energy for a day of hiking. 

3 days in a cozy guest house

I had an overnight in Mestia and ended up at the Nikala, a ten minute walk from central Mestia. There are just a few rooms at the moment, but more are being built. My room is new and is clean, quiet, and comfortable. I would have no problem spending a night here again.

Comfortable for a night or two

Nice property at a great price. Rooms are new and clean. It's not right in the center, but fairly close to it (between the airport and the center, though closer to the center). There's a little market on the ground floor.

Clean and comfortable

My room was on first floor with big and comfy double bed. Spacious and clean. Bathroom was equipped with all necessary things incl. the mirror. With top quality bed linen. Fast internet. Tea and coffee in the common area. Not far from city center, very quite place and no noise from the street. Host was great. Feel free to ask any questions before your arrival. Bonus - a small shop downstairs and a local tavern with lovely Georgian kitchen dishes.

Enjoyable hotel

I stayed here for four nights with my Dad and it would easily have got five reviews. The owner was a super friendly lady who helped us to organised our transport back to Kutaisi. The beds were SO comfy, the room was clean and the price was great. The bar and restaurant downstairs were great and there's even an on property shop to buy water, snacks etc. However, outside our room was a small living area with a TV. On TWO of our nights here the boys who worked in the bar/restaurant downstairs came back from their shift at around 1am/2am and made LOADS of noise - drinking, smoking and even having a full blown argument one night. We had to ask them to be quiet on both nights. It's shame because apart from that it was a great hotel!!

Comfy bed, clean room, great price BUT...

I was here for 2 days and it was awesome. The place has magnificent view from rooms. It even got a balcony. Snowy mountains all around you. The owner was really nice. Private bathroom, hotwater.. it had everything. Best part was the restaurant downstairs. They served some really nice food. Try khinkhali and chacha combination :). Try their special khinkhali soup. People at the restaurant are exteremely friendly. Roma and his mother manages the restaurant. Very good people. Ate a lot of delicios food from there. Highly recommend.
