I have recently visited Georgia and Sighnaghi for the first time and, I think, it was one of my best trips ever! Maya’s and Gela’s hospitality and kindness blew me away. Gela offers private tours around Georgia and spoiled my family with travel to the most beautiful sites for a few days in a row. He was kind, caring, attentive to our travel needs, and, most of all, adventurous and fun! We had a chance to see so much in a short period of time while enjoying comforts of his jeep. Maya treated us with the best lunch I have ever had, she taught me how to make khachapuri, treated with Gela’s homemade amazing wine, and gave recipes to other authentic georgia dishes. Maya also makes delicious georgian breakfast or any other food you want. And the from the balcony of their guest house is so beautiful, like a castle in the sky. If you want to experience real Georgia in the most special unique way, book with Maya and Gela house and services with no hesitation! You wont be disappointed. I cant wait to come back!

My 5 friends and I stayed a night at Guesthouse Maya. I 100% recommend this place ! The view is amazing, the bedrooms are comfortable and clean. We loved the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Cherry on the cake, the host was so kind and smiling that we felt home. She planned all of our marshrutka trips, a wine tour, and ordered food that got delivered at the guesthouse directly.

Amazing experience : lovely host and breathtaking view

Since I arrived at the guest house I had a good feeling about the place. Maya took good care of me and gave me a nice room. I also ordered breakfast and it was marvelous, even a bit too much I should say! :)

Very pleasant stay!

I booked 2 nights but decided to stay 1 more. Maya makes you feel at home in her lovely house with stunning views. She makes great breakfast when requested for a reasonable price. Nice place to talk with other guests and explore Signagi and the Alazanivalley. I can recommand it to everyone!!!

Beautiful views and wonderfull Maya

We stayed at Maya Guest House for 2 nights and loved our stay there!

The guesthouse is in the perfect location right in the centre of town but away from all the noise of the main square. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and the shower was one of the best we had in Georgia. It was possibly the best value for money guesthouse we stayed in throughout Georgia.

Maya is a fantastic host, she was happy to help us with anything that we needed during our stay and was always up for a chat. We had breakfast both mornings and it was absolutely delicious - the little pancakes were a highlight.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Sighnaghi, this is it.

Fantastic Georgian hospitality!

The gorgeous Maya and her family have two properties; we stayed at the one closer to the city centre.  We spent two nights in a newer room with attached bathroom and another in the family home with a shared bathroom.  Both rooms were comfortable and cosy. Maya, Gela and their son were wonderful hosts, and nothing was too much to ask of them.  Being able to use the kitchen was fantastic; Maya is a fantastic cook, and she was sampling my food as I hers. By the end of our stay I felt like family.  And maya's mum, Marina, was a gem.  Although she spoke no English and I no Georgian, the universal language of hugs worked well.  We would definitely recommend this place to other travellers.
