Nice old hotel in the downtown Tbilisi, walking distance to practically everywhere.
The hotel is really beautiful, an early XIX century building with decor preserved and beautifully restored where needed. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The room was great, all the amenities were there, including earplugs (might be a good thing for light sleepers). A complimentary bottle of water was provided.
The bed was comfortable. I actually had a good sleep without having to use earplugs.

The breakfast was included in the price and was modest but tasty. It is served in the sitting room/lobby and you can enjoy eating from beautiful plates and using nice cutlery - a rare thing in the age of IKEAsation.
I will definitely consider staying here next time I'm in Tbilisi.

Bear in mind - it is a 200-year old building which may produce sounds itself and has not too strong sound-proof.

Decent price/value in Tbilisi

Good location, not in the very center, but very convenient, Clean room. All what you need is available and working!!!  Very friendly stuff and happy to help you anytime with either advice or taxi booking .  I saw some reviews about breakfast not being good,,,, come on ,,, you are in Tbilisi,,,,it is all about food in the city.  Grab your cereal, toast  etc in the hotel an move on to explore outside.  And it was a flashback to my childhood when you are always greeted by somebody from the family, have a breakfast in a cosy hall with old chairs, tables, decorations that some of these you remember, ,,,,, was so sweet

This was my first visit to Georgia.  I booked online to stay at the Old key Hotel and requested airport transfer.

Edward was waiting at the Airport with my name on a signboard, and took me to the hotel.  about a 40 minute drive mid afternoon and traffic was reasonable.

When we arrived at the hotel and entered I must admit that I had severe doubts.  The entry door from the street was not impressive and the passage and stairs were dark and not at all inviting. We entered the first floor lobby and the room was a great surprise and contrast to the stairs.  Really interesting place, cozy and has interesting classic decor.

I was allocated room 8, which is situated at the rear of the building.  Just as well as the main road has cobble stone surface and could be somewhat noisy with traffic. The room was clean with simple furniture and decor.  Bathroom was super neat and clearly renovated not too long ago.  The bed was comfortable and lined as well as towels were clean and fresh.

The building tends to be slightly noisy at various times of the day but not to the point where it bothered me.

Breakfast is basic but there are many interesting restaurants nearby.

WiFi was good here.

Two reasons why I will definitely return to this Hotel are the extremely friendly staff and secondly the location.  Great value for money.

Definitely worth staying at Old Key Hotel

5 nights of a wonderful holiday. The room and the bathroom very clean and hotel is located in a convenient place in the city. Walking distance to shopping, bars and restaurants and the 'Antic Street"..WIFI signal is good. Reasonably priced with breakfast included, I would definitely recommend anyone for a stay in this hotel.  Most of all, a 24/7 kind and ever friendly Staff who would obligingly provide needed information or book a taxi wherever you want to go, and honestly tell you if the price is right. Only setback is the bath towels, need to replaced with new whiter towels.

Old Key Hotel

The hotel is locatet perfectly if you want to explore the city by foot. There are mans bars 15 miutes away on the same street. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is basic but alright. I can recommend this hotel
