Tbilisi Central Inn 

I stayed here for three nights during a last minute trip to Tbilisi. I came when the hostel had just been opened and the father of the owner was still fixing in nails here and there. The hostel is situated in the back of one of the city's numerous indoor patios, so it is extremely quiet and comfortable. The facilities consist of two bedrooms; one dormitory with nice fresh IKEA sheets, and a smaller bedroom with two beds that you can push together for a couple or sleep in separately. The living space is a large room with nice white walls, big windows, and wood floors. Very nice and home-like. Across the patio is two large toilets with amazing big blue wood doors separating them, a shower and finally the kitchen with everything you would need should you want to cook. Up some stairs is a lovely sitting area for those nice hot summer nights. When I stayed there a cat had decided to take residence with its newborns in the dormitory, making me know this place must be safe. The best part of the stay was the owner Gvantsa. I had intended to travel on my own but she refused to let me see the city alone, and became my tour guide for the next three days, showing me into all the churches, the old apartment buildings to see the murals, and had great knowledge of the city's past. When we would go to eat all of her recommendations were perfect, and so I tried delicious Georgian food I wouldn't have known to order for she not be there. Overall I highly recommend this hostel. Gvantsa is fabulous and the facility is new, clean, and not too big. Just lovely.
