  Situated just outside City with Park & Ride a few minutes walk with very frequent bus service into the City centre. Made very welcome on arrival and directed to pleasant, spacious room. The restaurant was good for our evening meal and a good breakfast provided.

Aachen stopover

Me and my husband stayed in this hotel one night. The room service is amazing: they bringt pretty fast very tasty ordered pizza in the evening and in a few seconds a required iron in the morning! It seemed that the sheets were not so clean, but we cannot be sure in that. It just would be perfect if the sheets look like fresh. A breakfast was perfect: everything was on a table of buffet. Just the omelet wasn't so tasty. Concluded, good hotel to stay for one night 

Nothing can be perfect

It was a great experience in this hotel. Everybody was very attention with me and my colleagues! We had a very good time there. The rooms is very comfortable and the restaurant is amazing. Really, everybody  should try the restaurant! 

Excellent!

I have been using this hotel for at least 15 years both for business and small break.All staff very friendly and always make you  feel welcome, ideal location for stopover or visiting the Christmas markets, only 3/4 hour from Koln. Rooms are very clean and food in restaurant excellent. Small downside breakfast could be a bit better.

ALWAYS GOOD AFTER 15 YEARS

Me and a group of 20 bussiness colegues visited this restaurant for 4 nights and were absolutely delighted by service and food. You can choose from variety of specialties which tastes excelent and a person can't ask for anything else. A top restaurant where everyone can enjoy their meal and leave with a huge smile. Prices totaly suits the meals you get. I want to thank everyone at Bismarckturm and  will definitely visit again if I get the chance :)

On arrival the welcome can only be described as GRUFF”
I was not shown to the room but just given key only to find no room number signs so had to walk around find the room.
I then went to the restaurant for a meal and was told by the headwaiter to sit the table laid for six persons, which I did but then was told off by waiter and said I had to move to another table. Yet restaurant half empty! I noticed later that a single person was seated at the table I was removed from.
I had main course, which was good, but had no offer for dessert or coffee so left.
I went to room then to use the Internet (essential these days0 to find no signal, after checking was told only T-Kom for which I had to pay 10€ to use! I cannot believe these days’ hotels expect you to pay this extortionate price to keep in contact. I spend on average 200plus nights in hotels each year traveling east & west Europe and never return to one that do not have free access for guests, the cost to the hotel is less than 10 cents a day. If they feel, they have to charge they should have a system that will work. I feel that to charge for this is like having to pay extra to use the lights (electricity) and fro sheets on the bed and loo paper by the sheet! 
My check out was unwelcome, my bill had omitted the meal and the reception had no till or cash and was unable to give me change! I was expected to have the correct cash to the last cent. They refused to refund the cash I had paid on the wrong invoice and pay the total with a card, in the end I walked out without my change.

The prices are very 4 star but the service not even 2 star,
