We were with 2 couples during our camping weekend at the CP Denntal in the Tannenhof inn on Saturday for dinner. The inn is on the edge of the CP. We had reserved a table in advance and were greeted kindly by the host. The drinks came quickly. On the menu everyone finds something. We recommend the megaleckers large schnitzel! There are some with various toppings (e.g. with bacon and onions, mirror leeks...) and with accessories to choose from. The prices are reasonable. We also get delicious beer from the barrel and snacks from the grass! We felt very comfortable and would love to come over again!

Good-natured guesthouse in the beautiful Denntal an der Ahr

Super hotel class location, great food, great staff. Nice to meet you again. And like the ones who arranged for the 45-person menu. Great. We already booked for the next meeting next year. Most of us have stayed at the hotel too and got a very good breakfast in the morning.

Class meetings

The restaurant is next to the campsite where we were staying. The menu was not extensive, with standard fare food such as schnitzel and goulash. It was disappointing because the schnitzel was not made fresh but a frozen manufactured product. I should have realised when the menu stated it had flavour enhancers, a sure sign of highly processed food. I took a quick look at our neighbours meal, they had ordered goulash, it looked like a microwave meal. I certainly would not recommend.

Disappointing meal

The hotel looks very idyllic in the photos, but it's actually in a huge campsite. When we arrived in the middle of the week, it was still quiet. Everything is set up in 80s style, but very clean. The food in the restaurant was good. Friendly, sympathetic host, family atmosphere. Anyone complaining about rudeness should always remember: guests are people too, and as you call into the forest, it comes out.

A Time Trip to the '80s

Very nice..... even after the kitchen is closed, still made flame cakes! Room clean... for our purposes great. Nice evening at the counter... with beer and liquor... I'm back... location for our purposes brilliant... everything in all... really perfectly suited

It's all right.

We had booked the hotel for friends. They had booked two rooms that day. The next morning it was 11:00 check out. We wanted to pick up our friends because they didn't know each other in the area. Since we had a little baby, we were ten minutes late. At 2 (!!!) minutes after 11:00, our friends were thrown out of the room extremely unfriendly. They were bombarded whether they wanted to pay back and that they had to leave the room immediately. And that, although there were only two rooms booked in the hotel. Basically, the hotel has also come a long way, dark and price-performance ratio already unashamed. I was really embarrassed to have recommended this hotel.

It's unbelievably unfriendly.

Absolutely good hotel. A fine, small and raw boarding house in the green. Very nice owner and breakfast was okay too. Nothing to eat. The rooms were clean and tidy. For the price absolutely fine.

Good hotel.

We were greeted very kindly, and we ate the flame soup first, then the classic flame cake. It was delicious and rich, and a nice, cool beer from the barrel. Everything was in line with our expectations and perfectly ok.

It's perfectly fine.

The rooms are in an annexe to the restaurant overlooking the camp ground below. We were staying in a room for four, which was very spacious. The bed seemed a little soft and the room had a rustic, slightly dark atmosphere. The bathroom was okay although of a rather small size. The choice at the breakfast buffet was plenty and of good quality. The hotel is at the outskirts of the village and not many cars could be heard and seen. All in all a good choice if you are looking for a place to stay whilst visiting an event at the Nürburgring.

rustic and good

We stayed here after visiting the Nurburgring. Considering the price was €30 a night the facilities were excellent. A hot shower, free wifi and comfy beds. The hotel is very clean. The decor is a bit dated, but I liked the way the hotel looked though. The location was lovely too , beautiful scenery. This hotel was great value and I would recommend it
