We stayed here one night to take our daughter to the Munich Airport to catch a very early flight. It was a nice, comfortable place for three with two good quality beds, and modern amenities like cable TV, but in a very traditional setting. The shower had good water pressure and there was a small refrigerator in the room. The same family has run the Obermeier Gasthof since 1864.  It's easily located in a small-town setting just a short distance from the autobahn, convenient to the airport and to downtown Munich. We ate supper in the gasthof on the first floor and enjoyed an excellent meal from a menu with many delectable Bavarian choices. The restaurant is popular with local folks, always a good sign.

Wonderful overnight stay in a traditional Bavarian guesthouse

Kind waiter, overall excellent service, and restaurant was patient with our scarce German. There appeared to be lots of locals and regulars in the restaurant. Community events advertised on bulletin board type of place, which gave us a good feeling. 

Good wine and beer selection. Excellent food. Options for vegetarians and pescatarians. A large portion of the menu can be made gluten-free - every item which appears with a star can be made gluten-free. This restaurant really gets it. Our gluten-free family member due to celiac had multiple menu options, including 3 options for dessert. There is a monthly special/daily special carte plus the regular menu. 10 minute walk from nearest train stop. I would return.

This quaint hotel is approximately 20 miles outside of Munich. The rooms were comfortable and did have a great shower! There are steps to the two levels and I do not recall seeing an elevator. The onsite restaurant and beer garden offer well prepared food and drink. This is a bit of a small village setting and I did not notice an active nightlife except for the hotel restaurant and bar. Quiet setting out of the noise of the city. 


Eintracht in Germany 

Friendly people with excellent rooms and food, for a decent price. Hotel is based in a small town where there are multiple stops for gas and supermarkets. Very good stay when traveling through Germany. 

Good hotel to stay when traveling

Restaurant was very good and close to the hotel I was staying at. Food was fresh and homemade .  Very reasonably priced--you get a lot of food for your money....and beer!! I do not speak German and the 1st night I went in a waitress served me that spoke English and gave me an English menu.  The 2nd night my waitress didn't speak any English but she got my pointing to the menu and miming communication.  I really liked the cozy feel of the restaurant, it was a nice place to have a warm meal on a cold night.

The gentleman who checked us in was nice as well.
The room I stayed in was ok - not great, but it was just a stop over so it was fine. I would give the room a 3, but the food a 5 - thus the 4 star total.
No AC so it got warm in the room and the window was really small so no ventilation.
 I think there were bigger rooms, but I didn't get one of those.
Overall, a decent experience at a decent price.
Don't think I would stay there again, but I would certainly eat there!
