The hotel is just a 5 minute walk to the centre of Alsfeld. The hotel is quite large and in places needs an update but is spotlessly clean. it does have a lift but is very small.  Buffet Breakfast was good and plentiful. The room we had was a very good size, clean and comfortable with a balcony. At night there is a big beer garden at the back where a lot of the locals come to as well. there you can order really good meals that are also very reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel and would defiantly stay here again.

A good hotel. with good Restaurant. 

Stayed here recently for 5 nights and much enjoyed it. The hotel is getting a bit worn around the edges, but it is clean, comfortable and located close to the pretty town center. The staff is friendly, there is ample secure parking, the rates are reasonable, and the breakfast buffet is super. What more does one need. 

Great location, friendly welcome

Turned up without a booking and had a warm welcome. We were surprised to be asked if we wanted smoking or non smoking room! Our room was quite a way from reception - it was spacious and clean with a double aspect and balcony. Comfortable beds and good night's sleep, The breakfast was good and plentiful.  The hotel is a short walk from the centre of this most attractive town.

Friendly welcome, relaxed  place to stay

We arrived early afternoon in time to park in a hotel car park space big enough to take our nine seater VW. Later on it got very busy with customers eating at the popular beer garden. The food was good pub grub style with friendly service. The owner is a biker and bikers are warmly welcomed. We had a nice airy light room with OK wifi. Breakfast was fairly good. Nice stay.

Friendly staff and nice accomodation

We have been here several times. The rooms are nice, but not charming. The food in the restaurant is traditional, abundant and tasty. Alsfeld is absolutely lovely. All in all, a perfect stopover for us when we go to our flat in France

Nice, clean, good food, friendly staff.. 

My wife and I stayed here for one night on the way back to the UK. The hotel is fabulous with beautiful architecture and is spotlessly clean throughout. We had a beautiful bedroom with a balcony overlooking a picturesque residential area. The bedroom was immaculate and very comfortable. Wifi was included and had a very strong signal. Breakfast the following morning was one of the best I have had anywhere. Total cost was 76 euros - excellent value. And yes, I would stay there again.

What a find

I got lost in the corridor when i got from My room but Else i like it alot. It is wery nice that the man behind the desk is an old rally driver. and the lobby is full of trophys. Why i ended up here is an other story and sorry for the bad english.
