We stayed for two nights in this charming palais and was greeted with a warm welcome by a very friendly lady, the manager. The room was spacious, so was the bathroom. Beds was a little bit hard but otherwise OK. Nice breakfast served in the morning. The hotel has also a cafe that is open during daytime, and a restaurant with a limited menu in the evening. Nice outdoor seating in the garden behind.

Stayed here for a friend's wedding. The staff spoke English pretty well. There was a large variety of food for breakfast. The evening meals from thr menu were delicious and the strudel is the best I've ever had. 

Negatives - wifi was poor unless downstairs in beer garden or restaurant area. 

Small quaint hotel

Room was quite small with pretty comfortable beds. Poor wifi connection. Bathroom was clean. Appreciate to have larger food selection for breakfast

Small hotel in the town center 

The hubby and I made a last minute decision to book a room in Ansbach to celebrate our anniversary. The few hotels in Ansbach city center to choose from were mostly booked up so we splurged on a suite. Burger Palais was cheaper than Schwartzer Bock by 20 euros or so. The suite was lovely, bed was comfortable. The bathroom was gorgeous, but didn't have a shower which we were disappointed about. Amenities were also not nice. - just a pump bottle of bath and shampoo combined...No mini bar.
But the gal working the desk was lovely, and the traditional biergarden was nice. 

Gorgeous, convenient, wonderful staff

At first glance this looked like a lovely hotel, but it is all show and no substance. Our room was small and dirty, particularly the fabric headboard which was stained. The TV didn't work. The shower head in the bathroom didn't have a fitting on the wall so we had to hold it. There were no net curtains at the windows. The extra cover in the cupboard was dirty. The staff weren't interested in our complaints. Food at breakfast ran out and wasn't replaced fast enough. The restaurant was closed even though we had booked half board. Gold taps and fancy curtains don't make up for a layer of dust and poor service.

We stayed at the Burger Palais for 10 days.  The room was very large, comfortable, exceptionally clean and had beautiful decor.  The food was the best we have had in Germany and the graciousness of the staff was beyond expectations.  We highly recommend this to couples for a lovely refreshing time.
