I am italian. I have been in Gastehaus Panorama because of the fair in Basel. Everything was lovely, confortable and clean. Very easy access to the highway. Very close to Basel and easy to go there by train, avoiding traffic and parking costs. The landlady is very welcoming, a lovely person. She was very carefull to all my needs. The price include train ticket, very useful! Good wi-fi service in room. Very nice and peaceful place, lovely decoration and very good breakfast with all you need. Super recommended!! :D

Welcomed in perfect English by the owner very friendly. I Started by being upgraded to a double room, although i booked a single. Of course for the same price. She also gave me indications for the dinner and it resulted a sharp advise.
Rooms are extra clean, minimalist modern style, gentle focus on details such as the towels chosen for the colour match with the bathroom tiles, and the candies on top of the pyramidal shaped pillows.
The house enjoys a big garden with small lake, a heaven to relax, prepare barbecues or play with children. A pity that my stay was so short, I will be back with the family.

One suggestion, make also some shampoo and shower gel available in the bathroom, would help in cases like mine when I forgot everything.

A friendly comfortable place

We're on our way from Swiss to Frankfurt and just want to find a place to stay beside Basel.  It's so lucky for us to find Haus Panorama.  It's just less than 30 minutes drive from Basel and located in a peaceful small town with easy access to the highway. 

The town is surrounded by vineyards and the hotel has a very nice view on the hill.   Greeted by the friendly host, she showed us the hotel facilities, led us to our room, guided us to the nearby restaurant. Our room is clean with comfortable bed and a nice view to the lovely garden.  Bathroom is also spacious and tidy. 

The breakfast is great with various bread, home made jam and many other choices. The restaurant which the host recommended to us is also great.  

We really enjoy the stay in this peaceful place and it's a pity that we only stayed for one night.  Hope to come back again.

Perfect stay, great host

We stayed there for 9 days and it was such a pleasure. The village of Bamlach is so quiet and peaceful. The flat we rented was really clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner was the perfect host. She provided all the help and information we needed and spoke very good English. Every morning we had fresh bread for breakfast as well as a variety of many other items, whilst sipping tea in their very beautiful and well kept garden.I highly recommend Guesthouse Panorama.

Absolutely Perfect!

We decided in the evening to call them 30 minutes before passing by on our way to Italy. We managed to get the last room. Being exhausted we did not even take a picture of our room. The room is spacious enough, clean and was made warm for us. The pillows were set as a pyramid with gelly caramels on the top of each pillow. The pillows are very soft so you may want to arrange harder ones for your convenience. In the morning ones you roll up the curtains you will understand why they call it panorama! The view is amazing! The village is small and picturesque. The Hills around are very beautiful. And then when you go for breakfast you'll be surprised with FRESH bread from various kinds. Hot boiled egg can be ordered and there is a variety of hams and marmelades and cheese. A typical german breakfast. 

Overall the owner is very polite and friendly, the location is great, there is free private parking, breakfast nice and typical german and a great garden for the summer nights!
