This guesthouse is not in Bad Heilbrunn itself, but a rural location which makes it even nicer! The room was spacious, comfortable and had a balcony and flyscreens. The evening meal on the sun terrace was jolly with lots of families enjoying the weather, drinking beer and eating from the very varied menu. A helpful waitress who could speak English was found to help us. The breakfast was superb.

Woken by a cuckoo! Rural guesthouse, great atmosphere and food, excellent value

I had a dinner in this typical Bavarian restaurant, the food was excellent, the bier as well and the price for the dinner was very convenient.
For sure I recommend this restaurant to other travellers, and for sure I will return.

Excellent Restaurant in the middle of Oberbayern !!!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The entire staff seems to be focused on how to make their guests comfortable.  The food is representative of the area, and coming from USA, we found it to be excellent in taste & presentation. The one thing I would advise would be to have some German or, be with someone who can speak German, OR, volunteer as a worker over the summer,  learn a language,  enjoy good food, be in the midst of some of the most beautiful countryside in the world, as well as in the presence of lovely Bavarians.

My husband stayed 4 weeks here for work and I joined him for the last week.  Our room was very clean, spacious, and modern.  Very nice large bathroom with great shower!  Although their English was very limited, the staff were all very nice and accommodating.  Housekeeping did a great job and were very pleasant!  Breakfast was adequate.  The hotel restaurant was good - traditional Bavarian food.  The hotel grounds are nice and serene.  There is a biergarten that would be great in warm weather, and people gathered to eat outside on the picnic tables for meals.  My only complaint about our stay is not at all about the hotel itself but its location.  It is very rural, located in farm land, which is nice and relaxing, but if you do not have a car it becomes a bit boring after a while.  We did walk to the small town of Bad Heilbrunn one day for lunch, which was a beautiful hike, but not exactly close.  There are no markets or other dining options nearby.

Nice, clean place

A very nice hotel in the countryside which its 3 star rating possibly a little more. Very friendly recetion and staff who made every efrort to be helpful as we spoke no German sad to say.The rooms were light and airy and clean. The restaurant was also  good and also busy which is always a good sign.A comfortable and enjoyable stay.
