Poor check in, grumpy old guy at the reception only showed up 10 minutes after I arrived. Other staff was nice though, but he was still there to correct us every day.
No one to take care of persons check in late and no one answering the phone number placed on the hand written notice in reception, so I had to search the reception for the room number to my colleague and escort her to that room. 
They tried to force us to have breakfast at 8 am, but when arriving at 7:30 many people were already there, about 1/3 of the space was filled and no stress. 
Extremely over priced due to a furniture fair this week, I would say a 2 star hotel that should cost around EUR 50 per person, as ordinary price was, while we now paid EUR 150/170 per person per night. 
16 degrees in my annex room the first night and no chance of changing, as the outside weather got better the temperature raised in the room. 
Difficult to find parking space, as the hotel was full.
Wifi very poor.

2 star hotel with a close to 1 star experience

I was staying at this family-run hotel for the second time, which was due to close in 2017. Fortunately, I was not able to eat any more meals. I stayed here for my activity week from last August to early September. Since I do a sports program at the latest after breakfast and enjoy some of my free time in the Vitasoltherme, I use the assigned private room mostly for sleeping. I could not eat any more meals at noon or dinner. Due to warm or tropical summer nights, you could not be very full of air and sleep less. After midnight (up to 23 hours) you can buy a few drinks at the hotel due to breakfast activities, similar to breakfast at around 14:30 a. You can also have breakfast in the hotel, breakfast and lunch at the hotel, but you can also have a few extra drinks at the hotel, including breakfast and lunch, breakfast, and lunch at the hotel, and dinner.

Second time at the Salzufler Hof Hotel

One night in Germany. Very basic and old room. Old bed. Clean and very quiet. Good quality report. Acceptable price. Very cozy and cheap lunch. Helpful and friendly staff. We arrived late and the keys were ready with confidence.

Room; first impression:super. But then: windows from the '60s, frames still need to be painted with oil, it hasn't happened in 10 years. Simple glazing, it's no longer acceptable. And then: door slamming is also antique, oh you ever! It's even worse: Super TV, flat screen super modern, only one ad: no CI module installed, whatever that means! The lady at the reception just needs to pee on her shoulders. The bed is super, sweat sheets, the bedding is yellow, only yellow, or it has to be this way?

That's how it goes.

Had a fantastic time at my nephew's wedding party which was held in The View  at the hotel and had the pleasure of staying for 3 nights as well, staff was very happy to help and all spoke very good english. Nothing was a probably x

Nice refurbished hotel quietly located in the city. Large modern rooms, nice staff and a super-cool lounge on the rooftops of Bad Salzuflen. Very good breakfast with everything you wanted. There was always a chef in the open show kitchen ready for special requests. We would love to be back anytime!

The weekend

When you arrive at Salufler Hof, you will be greeted with a friendly welcome and you will be assigned a room. The rooms are suitable and meet your basic needs. Bed, towels, etc. are clean and of good quality. Questions about the place or events are answered patiently. What you have at home you will notice at the first meal - all good homemade food and an ambiance like that of mothers. I like to spend time there and I will certainly come back often. I prefer the feeling of belonging to the family rather than looking at luxurious things that neither earn me nor further away from me. Here, the overall package is simply right - you can't just set up higher exercises on other people than on yourself. The staff would certainly still have an extradition - the two women who are doing a housework for themselves.

This is where the guest is at the center, not the house.

I only slept here because there was nothing else to get at the fair in the short term. I've already set myself at a very low level, but unfortunately it went even worse than expected. The facility is so old and lived that it never gets older at all. The only positive thing was the breakfast, which exceeded expectations after the shock of the room.

Except for breakfast, everything is very modest.

I'm going to start with the fact that it's a guest house, which has different nuances of arrivals in it. When entering the hotel I couldn't find any staff to enter for a very long time. I lived on the 3rd floor. Naturally, there's no elevator, with a suitcase in places quite narrow and steep staircase. There's no wi-fi in the room! To pay, you have to go to the reception at the hotel - the building next door.

Budget visit to the exhibitions in Bad Zaltsuflen

Nice and cozy place, good breakfast,and very friendly staff, always ready to help for anything!! A little bit expensive (probably because it was a fair -Messe- time, so requests were very high). There is a lounge for non-smokers and smokers too. Location is very good, close to the historical center.I would definitelly come back here!!
